The war crime they've been waiting for?

No one yet knows what happened in Haditha, Iraq, last November. There are accounts -- unconfirmed -- of a massacre perpetrated by a unit of enraged Marines against unarmed civilians. Unless I miss my guess, this is about to become the biggest story in the world.

Consider that Abu Ghraib, which did not involve killing or torture (though it did include extreme humiliation) became the American and world press's favorite topic for weeks on end, though far more grotesque acts were being perpetrated daily by the jihadists in Iraq and elsewhere. In the period since then, the American press has focused almost exclusively on stories from Iraq that depict the situation as hopeless and the role of Americans as counterproductive.

Even before we know anything with certainty about Haditha, the Chattanooga Times Free Press has let fly with this bit of instant sociology: "If the vicious sectarian strife that is ripping Iraq apart holds no apparent end and is now sufficient to prompt a spree of unprovoked killings of innocents by American troops, Americans reasonably may wonder whether, as some generals already believe, this nation is now doing more harm than good by remaining in Iraq."

-snip-

Yes, violence is extreme, particularly in certain areas of the country. But this does not mean that democracy is failing to take root. Seventy percent of eligible Iraqis voted in the past three years. Radio stations, newspapers and Internet blogs have proliferated. The first free trade unions in the Arab world have begun in Iraq.

But don't expect to hear about those things. Our press will doubtless be too busy luxuriating in Haditha.

"....and to always remember to US our enemies Strengths against them, as Allah will show the way..."

"....(they)will lose ( Infidels ) because they are fighting a war with in their own countries where PUBLIC OPINION will be WON for US ...( by their own Media ) without US.."

Kind of HARD to tell now--WHICH quote came from OSAMA and the Terrorist Hand book--

Or are PLANS from the DNC Handbook?

Remember the Movie " Terms of Engagement " ??

The TERRORISTS that in the Market Square scene were dressed up in Bakas and Hoods--carrying Bundles dressed up as FAKE BABY Carriers that really carried their machine guns?? as the terrorists were spread out among the Real Citizens and familes of the town?

Go back and remember the FOOTAGE that Al-Quezzera carried of American Troops FIRING on SURRENDERING Iraqi Troops?--

That they STOPPED showing when the U.S. had shown THEIR EXACT FOOTAGE of the same thing--but putting in what REALLY HAPPENED!!:

Iraqis FAKING SURRENDERING then pulling concealed weapons out and firing in an ambush at the U.S. Troops that were so willing to ACCEPT these so-called Surrendering Troops??

Just the fact that the BBC Cameramen who DID show up much later stated that according to the Time-Line of the Actual FOOTAGE shown--how DID the " Iraqi-Backed " Camera Crew show up EXACTLY out of no-where to just HAPPEN to catch all this on film??

No matter WHAT the Out Come of the investigation-- PUBLIC OPINION will be won by the side that Speaks the LOUDEST--and THAT does NOT look like it will be be any So-Called " Pro-Troop " Republicans either speaking out NOW when they should be!

DAB

p.s. "...New Tone?? you say??? DAMN the NEW TONE I say!!

By forcing the withdrawal from Vietnam, the left killed over two million people.

They could do even BETTER in Iraq!

If the Slave Party takes over Congress, there won't be a dime for this war.

Absolutely NO coincidence that:

--Abu Ghraib story came the week before the first election in Iraq

--NSA domestic surveillance story came the same day as the third Iraqi election

--Haditha story surfaces the same week that the Iraqi government is formed

Folks, we are seeing a very deliberate manipulation by the U.S. major media outlets to quash any and all good news from Iraq with made-up and deliberately delayed "bad news" stories. Is it any wonder the President's approval rating and support for the war has dropped? Every single time a positive milestone has been reached in Iraq which would make the American public more confident about the war and its eventual successful outcome, the U.S. media have trumped it with bad news.

The MSM is out to destroy America. Any doubt? Now believe it is not to destroy Bush as much as these so called Americans are so sick they are beyond redemption. If we are destroyed it will be from within. We know who our enemies are, but the very Constitution that protects us protects them. Too bad they don't realize what they are doing. Proves they are pure mentally ill nuts. This includes many of our politicians.

There's no doubt we're in the middle of a war.

We're in the middle of a war with a coalition of domestic traitors whose primary goal is to destroy America.

A Vietnam style demoralization of the Army is a critical objective in their campaign.

The destruction of traditional American liberties, traditions and folkways followed by their replacement with an elitist "Costal Culture" is another.

We are in more danger from domestic traitors than from any foreign terrorists ever spawned.

The insurgents have committed numerous war crimes.

The press doesn't care. They have chosen sides and they consider the US the enemy in this fight.

This is ridiculous. The issue is the Sunni Triangle, and the filthy, primitive animals who live there are never going to accept our notion of Democracy.

Do you really believe the MSM don't know what their doing? I think it all has to do with who believes they have the "real" power in America. The press can destroy a politican quickly. Yet no holds the press into account.
Thank God for FreeRepublic.

You nailed it!

I am fed up to the gills and then some with the liberal traitors in this country. At the same time the absence of stand-up Americans on the right (in leadership positions) is making me sick too. I have truly just about had it with politics at the ballot box.
