George W. Bush certainly has helped Bill Clinton's favorability ratings by appointing him to honorary positions along side George H.W. Bush for Tsunami and Katrina relief. I agree that Clinton's positive image is a reflection of this current work.
Remember that his job approval rating hit its all time high during the week the House Managers handed down the articles of impeachment.

Is is just me or what? How could 7% have no opinion? I mean you had 8 years to form an opinion one way or another?
Now ask people for favorable opinion on GW...And I bet those numbers would be reversed. What's up with that?
You have a philanderer and perjurer and they love him. And the current President they hate him. We are really messed up somehow.

How can you have an unfavorable opinion of an ex-president who is doing tsumani relief?

Exactly. And GHWB has taken him on as another son... barf!

It was the accounting scandal that was bigger than Enron but never reported as such.

Perhaps you would care to elaborate on that rather provocative assertion?

I guess a great many people have been catching up on their sleep over the past decade.

That 7% are the "moderates" who are very sensitive to other peoples' feelings.

He's not in power, hasn't been seen much.
He had the operation which humanized him.
He hasn't been open about whose giving him blow jobs now.
Nobody really has information about technology he passed to China and elsewhere that hurt our safety, so that benefits him IMO.

You don't think clinton criticized President Bush? Why do I remember hearing him do it? No other ex president has ever said the things that clinton has said about his successor.

...in which the good times rolled, and we had budget surpluses.

We did not have any budget surpluses while Clinton was President.

They came during Bush's first term. Clinton was given credit, but it was Congress that caused them.

And, keep in mind...Clintoon's MSM press coverage was 99 and 44/100% positive, even on negative events such as Lewinsky (it's all about sex, and isn't he a hunk).

Their influence is fading, but it still has a major impact on groupthink.

Contrast that with the five-year-long daily barrage on GWB and everyone around him.

58% Favorable. ROTFLMAO! FOX is getting as bad as MSN.

Fox has run its course. If a person really wanted to make bucks he/she would start an all conservtive network & have 50% of the media. No one does. Isn't that strange??? Doesn't that make you wonder?

I'm really disappointed with FOX and my FOX News Channel viewing has dropped off bigtime. They've swerved off to the Left. I can get the same crap FOX is now dishing out over at CNN. I guess the heat from the Liberal crybabies got to FOX. Oh well. Something else might come along in the future.

I'll admit, I'm a bit surprised as well by the results, but looking at the ratings of the other major cable news networks, I'm less surprised. It really seems like viewers are jumping ship from CNN, and I'd imagine many of them are coming to FNC. It only makes sense--a lot of CNN talent has bailed out for greener pastures at Fox News, so the viewers are coming to the familiar faces and quality reporting.
