"Relenting to pressure from state government officials, Wal-Mart Stores said yesterday that it would begin carrying Plan B, an emergency contraception pill, in all of its United States pharmacies by the end of the month.
But in a move that rankled some women's groups, Wal-Mart said that it would allow pharmacists who object to filling a Plan B prescription to refer customers to another pharmacist and, in some cases, to another pharmacy.
Wal-Mart, which has 3,700 pharmacies, had been the only major chain that refused to sell the so-called morning-after pill, which can prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of intercourse.
The retailer's policy provoked criticism from groups like Naral Pro-Choice America and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which argued that because Wal-Mart was the only pharmacy in some areas, its decision to not carry the pill deprived women of access to a federally approved emergency contraceptive."

As an over the counter drug for teens to use, there is the obvious risk of young females using the drug too often or at times when increased risk due to an already implanted embryo is targeted ... these ingested hormones are not mild chemicals with easily adjusted effects.

It does seem the author's intentions re this piece are political. The WP has run numerous stories promoting over the counter access to the Morning After Pill for quite some time.

EC can be prescribed ahead of time to keep at home "just in case."

I caught a little of it. A call to PP might have helped, but it seems that in her "panic" she didn't think of it. I wouldn't want her for a lawyer in a serious case.
It isn't so much that Bush made her have an abortion. She is complaining that "Plan B" was not readily available so she could take a pill and stop a potential pregnancy. The baby, or potential baby, was doomed from the start. It was either going to be terminated by "Plan B" or by abortion. The crux if the whole argument by this selfish hag is "convenience."
I just sat here and read that article with my mouth open. What a stupid self-centered woman, and she's a lawyer to boot. "I'm too busy to use birth control, and it failed, and I was too busy picking up my kids from school to get information." I would never ever have an abortion, but even I know where to go to get one. I agree, it is disgusting. She (if there is a she) is obviously promoting an agenda to have the morning after pill sold over the counter at every pharmacy and to force every doctor and pharmacist to provide this medication, irregardless of their personal religious principles. The doctors and pharmacists could be Christians, Jews or Muslims, it makes no difference to this woman lawyer. She is trying to force her morals (or lack thereof) on everyone. As I said before, if you follow that line of logic, it is like saying every doctor should be forced to perform abortions. So much for "choice".

It was only later, when she discovered that she was pregnant (if even that portion of her fabricated story is true; liberals lie without conscience when they're promoting an agenda they believe is 'best for us all'), that she had any issues. Her issues took the usual liberal societal engineering lickspittlist's direction: blame someone else for her own error.
Backtracking her fundamental complaint and desire to bash conservatives and people of faith in general, she reasons that having Plan B available over the counter would have given her a way out of her too-late-to-avoid-it predicament, the predicament she falsely asserts she found herself in the moment her passion passed. But she is then trapped because she is advocating the use, routinely, of a hormone based medicine which is not to be used so lightly or so often, and that is the very reason the FDA is not releasing it for over the counter sales! This is how we may deduce this woman is dishonest and exploiting a notion she imagined in her efforts to blame someone else for her own failings.
Aside from that, look at the dead soul status of this creature who admits that she perceived the being inside her to be an alive BABY, yet she so freely slaughters him or her to fulfill her wants, killing with no conscience because the child is an inconvenience to her desires. Then she asserts that she had no choice because people of faith, conservatives, wouldn't allow her to have available for substance abuse a medication which she could have used to prevent killing her unborn CHILD by preventing the child come into existence. This woman practices the deepest forms of dishonesty.
