I haven't read it yet but that's exactly what my husband said.
Sorry I didn't see it... (I didn't read that thread yesterday.)
If I had, I could have saved some time and effort.
I guess great minds think alike... Yours just thought it first.
Good lord! I don't think she's interested in catching an infection, and I don't think she sells too many books in San Fransicko anyways. No offense.
Yes, but it's worse than that. What I'm sure Ann doesn't address in her book, nor what others have observed, is that in a thoroughly secularlized society, politics has been the dominant religion across the spectrum -- both liberals and conservatives worship the same god. Their differing ideologies are only different "denominations" of the same basic faith. Just as liberals put their faith in government to address perceived social ills, conservatives also put their faith in government, through the exercise of politics, to put things "right" in the society. The discontent that is apparently rampant among conservatives today is an indication of the failure of politics as an avenue to achieve moral and social objectives. The state is a false god, and politics is a false religion, and like every false religion, God ultimately mocks it. The fecklessness of politics in 2006 is an indication that the faith everyone has put in politics -- both those on the left and the right -- is a misplaced faith.
Well, that's sort of the way it should be--not to the extent you describe, of course, but political figures shouldn't be religious figures. I'm not denying the Christian roots of the country, but the intentional, explicit choice to have no national religion is one of the keys to our republic's health.
Man do the Socialists have their collective panties in a wad over her!
I will play it as I drive.
I bought a copy from Amazon and was pleased to see she's now (at 11:40 est) NUMBER ONE ON AMAZON!
Here's the link...

That's a pretty tough schedule.
Not columns regurged--I'm reading and enjoying, but Treason is her best.
That's good to hear....she's best when she has to work for the money....
Be careful of Amazon. They are run by fundamenatlist liberals and will "out" you if the mgt doesn't like your review. Your personal info will then be publicly available, and if you've ordered from them, they've definitely got your personal info. Amazon is going to be looking at a lawsuit if they do this to the wrong person.
These reviews look cooked, of course, and so many bad ones appearing so fast speaks to the backstage Amazon nasties. Beware.
I wish there was a comprehensive online bookstore that wasn't totalitarian leftwing in management.
And what does this mean? Related to Ann's book that is.
The fact is I know some Democrat Christians who live more exemplary lives than Republicans.
I also believe there are certain Christian values better reflected in Democratic platforms, such as tolerance and charity.
Nevertheless, I think conservative Republican values are closer to Biblical Christianity on several big issues.
I just think Ann Coulter is going too far with her sweeping general condemnations of Democrats as all being Godless and her remark about the 9-11 widows has really aleinated a lot of people.
You are incorrect factually on the above comment made in your post. There was a published record of the states contributing the most to charity- they were the most conservative states.
Read my post again.
I made NO CLAIM as to the level of personal charity by one group compared to any other.
I was talking specifically about political platforms and positions of Dems vs the GOP. I'm talking about their their views about the role of Government in providing for the underpriviledged and needy.
And not only am I factually correct on this, but conservatives openly admit that they are on the opposite side of the fence when it comes to the Government's role in "charity" and also promoting "tolerance" toward groups like gays etc.
10-4 on that!
That's the nicest photo I've seen of Ann. She looks un-self-conscious and relaxed. It must be a terrible strain to keep up the constant sexiness.
Well Kenny baby,
As I read what you wrote "What I'm sure Ann doesn't address in her book.." indicates to me that you haven't read the book. So, why are you critiquing it? How can you? That's a favored attack mode of Far Left Loons.
