My Mom can't stand Macy's. But it's because they bought out and ruined Filenes, according to her.

Here's a photo from the Boston Pride Parade of (we're not kidding) women who have had their breasts surgically removed, and are marching as bare-chested "men." This is what Macy's is celebrating!

As mhking is famous for saying, "just damn."

What do you expect? Only gay people and women shop at Macy's anyhow. No real man would be caught dead in the place.

This is not acceptable in the America born of Washington, Jefferson, and Madison.

I have long ago stopped shopping at Macy's. They play too many pricing games. I'd rather spend my money at Lord & Taylor or similar stores if I can't get what I need at a discounter.

I've never been in a Macy's, doubt I ever will. But if advertising to homosexuals in Boston scandalizes some folks, then they seriously need to get over it.

A few thousand envelopes containing cut up Macy's credit cards might do the trick.

I assure you Gay men probably spend about 100 times more shopping for clothes than the tiny population of people sufficiently offended by this (especially in the areas Macy has stores, and especially in Boston) so I doubt Macy's could care less about the reaction of anyone else.

Beg to differ, this IS America, and although the PC police might have clamped down on free speech in many places, (Boston for one!) they cannot clamp down on a persons right, will, or even against their will, to be truly grossed out when something is just plain gross. It's not like that sort of thing is controllable, in fact it only gets worse with time.

Most people also know, that unless things change, these displays will be on every main street in America. Hopefully, for some it will be an eyeopener. And even more hopefully, they have not recently eaten!
