The true story of just how we got him won't be known for decades. We're in an intelligence war in Iraq and nothing can be told.

Glad to hear he died slowly. Hopefully he was conscious of his circumstances and aware that he was in allied hands as they were collecting his DNA. Hopefully they smeared him with lard.

Hey, it always helps to turn someone or when someone rolls.

The house, and all inside it, was wiped out. However, Jordanian sources last night said Zarqawi did not die instantly. Though mortally wounded, he was alive when Iraqi and US troops arrived on the scene. His brutal reign ended 10 minutes after the bombs fell. Ten others died with him, among them a chief aide and two women. How much ya want to bet that DU's spin on this is that the troops "shot a wounded, helpless man" instead of taking him into custody and caring for him.

How many Senators that supported McCain's terrorist protection legislation are going to moan that this information came from terrorists, who I suspect, weren't offered tea and cake to release this information?

well, the lesson to be learned from that is simply to drop bigger bombs!

Over the past month, the two key members of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's inner sanctum had been netted by Iraqi and American spies and had gradually begun to talk.
========================================================================
I am going to be really, really, really, really upset if we had to make them "uncomfortable" to get them to talk.

Zarqawi location tipped off by captured deputies I can't help but wonder if this is disinformation designed to make the remaining enemy leaders distrust each other's ability to keep secrets....

Even better news ... the icing on the cake that he might have had an American soldier staring him in the face as he died !
