DUBAI (Reuters) - A Saudi militant killed in 2004 was due to have been the 20th suicide plane hijacker in the September 11, 2001 attacks, al Qaeda's media arm said in a statement on the Internet on Tuesday. "Turki bin Fheid al-Muteiri -- Fawaz al-Nashmi -- may God accept him as a martyr (was) the one chosen by Sheikh Osama bin Laden to be the martyrdom-seeker number 20 in the raid on September 11, 2001," said the statement.
In May, bin Laden said Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person convicted in a U.S. court for the September 11 attacks, had nothing to do with the al Qaeda raids on the United States. U.S. officials say Moussaoui was supposed to be the 20th attacker.

It's very convenient to name a dead man, Turki bin Fheid al-Muteiri -- Fawaz al-Nashmi, to take the heat off your man in prison. Was Turki named #20 after Zak was captured? And why wasn't Turki on one of the planes?

This is fascinating. They should round up all of their evidence and take it to the nearest US Marine base immediately.

Interesting. Now, if Mr. Laden would kindly come into the nearest US embassy and sign a deposition, we'd be glad to re-open the case.

So we found the missing 20th terrorist. He's still dead, Jim.
