Palestinian Authority TV has been repeatedly broadcasting a falsified video clip of the events surrounding the deaths of seven family members on the Gaza beach on Friday. In an attempt to blame Israel's navy for the deaths, PA TV took unrelated video of an Israeli missile boat firing at Gaza earlier in the day and edited them into the scenes, creating the impression Israeli responsibility.
The following is the time frame of the PA TV editing and falsification:
00 - :32 Seconds: PATV clip introduces the scene by showing an Israeli missile boat firing on the Gaza coast. Audio of ambulance siren is added to visual to create false impression that boat was shooting at same time as ambulances were present.
0:32 - 1:05: Scene switches directly to the victims, creating a false connection between the events.
1:05 1:09: PA TV returns to the naval vessel showing sailor with binoculars looking at shore, again creating the false impression he is observing the evacuation.
1:09 2:00: The evacuation scene continues ending with the word "Why" on the screen only in English, indicating a foreign target audience, possibly media.
The video of the Israeli navy was unrelated to the deaths, having been filmed earlier in the day and had already released to the media and to the internet by the Israeli army at 4:00 PM, an hour prior to the deaths.

Comment: It should be noted that not only is the video falsified, but the beach scene clearly backs the Israeli contention that the deaths were not caused by an Israeli shell. Any Israeli shell would have left a giant crater and spread sand over the entire area, as well as on the victims. There is no crater and the beach scene is not disturbed in a way that indicates an Israeli shell could have landed nearby.
You were expecting honesty and integrity?
Palis faking video of events?? Well, color me shocked.
A co-worker just came back from a 2 week trip in the region and tells me 138% of the news from those parts is total poo.
And In a related article the author is dressing as an Israeli and shouting fire in crowded movie houses, or was it that he was filling firefighters pump trucks' water tanks with gasoline?
They must've went to the same Jschool as Sadan Blather, and Komrade Kourik!
US Taxes going to these terrorists ?????
Hmmmm... Where have we seen something like this before...??
Makes me want to keep my tgline about "The Father of All Lies" active a while longer...
Wha? Muslims lie?
Because it's a correction to a lie told by the MSM.
The Gaza beach explosion video
As a former US Marine who is quite familiar with the effects of artillery, I must point out that a careful viewing of the media video of the after effects of the Gaza explosion showed NO artillery round craters.
Israels IDF uses 155 mm artillery shells. These are quite powerful and invariably leave a crater, some as deep as four feet in soft soil like sand. Virtually none were visible in the film. Particularly in the area immediately adjacent to the familys alleged picnic site.
There is something very wrong in this entire story about that explosion. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have already reaped the benefit from a world media all too eager to blame Israel.

Michael Allens insight is confirmed by an Israel Defense Forces report, just released and published in the Jerusalem Post:
The IDF probe investigating the deaths of seven Palestinian civilians, caused by an explosion on a beach in Gaza on Friday evening, concluded that chances were slim that the accident was caused by IDF shelling.
According to Channel 2, the findings, expected to be formally released on Tuesday, showed an inconsistency between the shrapnel found in the body of one of the wounded babies and the metal used in IDF artillery.
Moreover, the investigation noted the absence of a large enough crater at the site of the explosion, as would be expected if an IDF shell had landed there.
The third observation casting doubt on the possibility of IDF shelling was the gap between the time when the army shot the artillery and when the commotion on the beach began. According to the probes findings, several minutes past after the shelling, before the Palestinians on the beach reacted.
On Saturday evening Gaza Division Commander Brig.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi insisted that the sites that were shelled by the IDF were the places from where Kassam rockets were launched. He noted those places were frequently targeted by the IDF, and were known to be dangerous places.
The leading theory currently entertained, suggested that an explosive charge, buried by Palestinians on the Gaza beach to prevent Israeli infiltration, was behind the explosion.
You really have picked up something that has bothered me for a very long time. How come in all these "so-called" terrorist demonstrations, the participants are all carrying signs written in English? This has been going on for a long time and it doesn't raise any questions from the drive by MSM at all.
Was this the same tape that showed a little girl ranting and raving going nuts because her father was killed? That to me was very much overdone and did not ring true. It was overacting. It reminded me of the taped scene last year of the PA little boy being shot next to his father. That turned out to be a hoax too.
Yeah. The Goebbles School of Propaganda
There's nothing wrong with issuing falsified versions of events,
Adolf Hitler did it all the time.
The Palis killed them, and blamed the Joos. Same sh*t, different day.
Type of fairness and balance you'd expect from the non partisan NYT or Democracy Now. :)
