Following are excerpts from an interview with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, which aired on Channel 2, Iranian TV on June 7, 2006.
Manouchehr Mottaki: We emphasize the peaceful nature of our nuclear weapons... I mean... of our nuclear power plant, and nuclear energy and activities. We have no need for nuclear weapons, as we've often said. Nuclear weapons are not part of our defense doctrine.

I saw that on MEMRITV.org earlier and watch the video 3 times. I can see he stressed a bit there over his choice of words by looking at his face.
I wonder if he meant to slip up (as an implied threat) OR did he speak the truth regarding the weapons and wasn't supposed to mention that OR did he really just mix up his words by accident?
Well, time will tell.

Tony Blankley's article today warns us and the Prez that appeasement is nearly complete unless we act as W said, in weeks, not months!
