Great questions. Love your hubby's style.

Either that or let Jack Bauer interview Murtha.

This was a great idea, and I hope that it results in a lot of money coming into Mrs. Irey's campaign.
I hope Murtha does accept the invitation. We can probably assemble in at least company strength to meet him.
His monitor will probably melt as a result.

I have nothing kind to say about Jack Murtha. If anyone deserves to be booted from Congress, he ranks near the top.
The stand a candidate takes on the issues is important to me, especially re: Immigration (I consider Sessions and J.D. Hayworth to be the models to follow), WOT (of which Iraq is part) and Judges. Though Judges falls more in direct domain of the Senate.
But Murtha has been so offensive to our military and this country that alone would be enough to entice a donation.
I wrote a check just now. It's in the mail in the morning. Best of wishes.

A great deal of the time, historic sites are run with a combination of private donations, trusts/endowments and profits from visitors/gift shops.Yes, I know. Let's change that from a "great deal of time" to all the time and we will be within the confines of the Constitution.

Now that would be an interesting session ah. If it comes to be I hope our admins will carefully choose questions that are worded in such a way to show what is on our minds, with just enough sophistication to indicate to him how displease some Americans are with how he has sided with the far left in his anti-war activities. We should in no way attempt to jost with him nor insult him. Just propose hard hitting questions. He is a long time politician, and can easily avert, dodge, attempt to cleverly deceive (not that we will buy his manure but he can double talk to attempt to get out of a corner).

One minor nitpick- Drill Instructors NEVER want you to look at them when they're berating you. :-)

I'm a government-is-the-problem kind of person myself. But I do believe preserving our history is very important.
I'm heavily involved with trying to preserve a historic site in the town I live in. We raise funds completely without taxpayer $$. We know the funds that are received come from people who truly care. It's nice to know they ARE out there.
