Sorry the rules were unclear to you. You were not the only one

This was our first attempt at this type of interview and to prevent distractions on the thread, the mods handed out short suspensions to those who posted during the live interview. It was the only action we could take to keep the thread focused on the questions and answers while it was live.

Hopefully the next thread like this will have better controls

Thanks for getting back to me. I am sure we'll get better at this when we do more.

In retrospect it makes good sense. The least productive thing we could do is have a free-for-all. I can imagine a thread hijacker or 2 and see the chaos that would spread.
