BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - - (06/15/06)-- If you were expecting fireworks on the "Tonight Show" last night, you might be disappointed.
Jay Leno had on the original counter-culture comedian George Carlin and acid-tongued conservative Ann Coulter. But there was virtually no interaction between the two.Carlin was first, and noted it was his 140th time on the "Tonight Show," dating back to the Jack Paar days.
When Coulter came out, Carlin moved over on the couch. He said he never thought he'd have to move to the right.
