The official language of the U.N. is French. Once the new army is sent in, they'll already know how to surrender.

Wonder what America's 'the US spends too much on the military'-whining liberals will have to say about this endeavor?

Don't forget that it also comes with a very angry letter for really tight situations.

LOL! I figured it'd have to be modified for those losers. Oh, how I eagerly look forward to the day the UN falls into the dustbin of history.
I remain hopeful that America comes to our senses, and pulls out of it before then, only to upset a bunch of socialist crybabies.

"The UN already has an army. It is called the US Military. Every stinking time they screw something up, the US military is always called upon to clean it up. Then they are dammed for killing the stinking enemy they were sent in to clean up. F the UN. Get the F'iing UN out of the USA. Move it to france where it will feel right at home. With plenty of cheese and whine to go along with it."
Holy Moly Yank, you'll like this guy (above).
I was just envisioning a UN special forces.
They'd probably shoot themselves in the foot.

"Special" would be the word I'd use to describe it. In a short-bus kind of way. See below:
If you haven't seen the "UN Man Video", its a hoot! You can watch it
here. Really puts into perspective the UN's utter worthlessness.
Cuba wouldn't be a bad place for it either. That building should be turned into the world's largest gun store when they're gone.

And how would they be armed?
What would be their rules of engagement?
What communications tools would they have to avoid confussion?
How would they react when all sides started kicking their butts?
What percentage would the U.S. be required to fund?
How would they be trained?

A standing UN army means more power and more money for the UNYou figure Coffee Anonymous has been reading Niccolo Machiavelli?
I say, therefore, that gold (as common opinion shouts) is not the sinew of war, but good soldiers; because gold is not sufficient to find good soldiers, but good soldiers are indeed sufficient to find gold.

Well, you may re-call that back in the Klinton Regime, this was given some serious discussion by the Commie's - uh lib's. If Hitlery should happen to get in office - god forbid, I assure you that she will attempt to place U.S. troops under U.N. command for sure.

Crisis management experts are calling for the creation of a "United Nations army"-an international rapid reaction force that could be deployed within 48 hours to intervene in emergency situations around the globe. Just out of curiosity, exactly who do these geniuses envision as funding and transporting this mercenary force to global trouble spots? Lemme guess...Uncle Sam?
To: UnbelievingScumOnTheOtherSide
"I propose we declare war on it."
I agree. When do you think congress will introduce the resolution?
Hey UN, the USA didn't fail you...You failed the world. GO AWAY!!

Yea, in the post above about the UN Army mission was a statement about "preventing genocide."
Wake me up when they take care of that in Rwanda, and Sierra Leone, and other great places they have succeeded in saving.

To Switzerland. The biggest mistake Truman made was allowing the building of UN headquarters in NYC. Should have moved into the old League quarters.
