but Malloch Brown was a man on a mission. He asserted that "much of the public discourse (about the United Nations) that reaches the U.S. heartland has been largely abandoned to its loudest detractors, such as Rush Limbaugh and Fox News." He went on to cite "too much unchecked U.N.-bashing and stereotyping over too many years." His overriding message appeared to blame corruption at the United Nations on Americans, especially the Republican Party.

Remind me why we continue to support this waste of space and money? Why is this useless debating club still in my country and why are these overpaid skin sacks allowed to bash my country, my government - THEIR hosts?? Traditionally, diplomats do not abuse their hosts unless they are being deported.

The corruption and incompetence in the UN starts with Kofi Annan. He should be arrested and deported from the United States, back to the craphole he came from. Anyone want to make a guess where he goes when his time is up? You can bet it wont be Ghana.

Its a CATO article written in 1996 which details the UN for what it was/is, and what is more appalling and frustrating, is that nothing has changed in the past 10 years, and NOTHING is going to change.
