I'm going to add that to my list and just sent it off to a lot of news organizations, Congressmen and the WH.
Anyone stupid enough to believe there was no alliance between Saddam and Al-Qaeda should be slapped due to pure ignorance.

The Looney Left has gone so overboard on this issue. They are actually saying now that Saddam had NO terrorist ties, whereas before they were saying he had no ties to Al Qaida specifically.
But there is too much smoke here for there not to be some kind of fire.
First came the revelations that Saddam was funding Abu Sayyef in the Philippines. Why would Saddam have such a large interest in the Philippines? Is it just a coincidence that Ramzi Youssef, the WTC 93 bomber, lived in the Phillipines? Is it just coincidence that AQ number 2, Kalid Sheik Mohammed lived in the Philippines?
And what about Terry Nichols of OKC disfame???
Then you have the reports of contacts when AQ was down in Sudan.
Now we find out that Saddam was buddies with the Taliban, hosts of AQ.
The leftists are saying Saddam had no ties to terrorists? Ridiculous.
He was paying suicide bombers, for crying out loud.
The media really cracks me up. In the 90's, Newsweek, the NYT and other major media out lets wrote dozens of articles about the alarm felt in the international community at Saddam's coziness with Al Qaeda and bin Laden. Do they really think we've forgotten?

Saddam was seeking suicide terrorists for attacks on the U.S. pre-911. Thanks to Jervitas we have the documents that prove it. The MSM ignores it... Anyway I don't know how the bi partisan 911 commission got this so fouled up... but the liberals have used it to hypnotise America.

Not to mention his well known payments to the families of Pali suicide bombers. But the left regards them as "freedom fighters", not terrorists. Come to think of it, it's the left who invented terrorism and then elevated it from a means to an end to an end in itself, so none of this should come as any surprise.
