Oh Dear !! Tri-Lateralism at Work !!!

Oh Dear : An International Highway Between Texas and Canada !!

How about a few Facts ?

Interstate Hwy # 69 was first conceived of in the 1950s.

Further planning was done as a result of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Enhancement Act of 1991.

On 01/01/94, NAFTA -proposed by GHW Bush, adopted and promoted vigorously by WB Clinton - became law. It called for-among other things-economic cooperation among the US ,Mexico, and Canada.

On 04/29/94, the Joint Working Committee on transportation Planning (US and Canada)signed a memo of understanding-with the consent of both governments.

In October,2000,a similar memo of understanding betweeen the US and Mexico was signed-again, with the consent of both governments.

(That made the memos (Oooooooh !) TRI-LATERAL.)

Subsequent to these agreements, further agreements have been entered into , which are a natural progression of the original 12 year-old NAFTA plan.

Suddenly it has dawned on the Teamsters Union, the Longshoremen, and the mob, that cargos are going to travel between Mexico and Canada without these worthies getting a chance to "dip their beaks" - and they are fighting tooth and nail against the proposals.

It has also dawned on those now making a fortune on the China Trade, their investments may be threatened by a "Pan-American" trade union capable of competing with the Peoples' Liberation Army.

Contributions are flowing out to environmental activist groups,to anti-globalists,and to an astonishingly broad spectrum of politicians : "a little something to help you in your battle against the forces of...uh....TRILATERALISM ."

The money flows in-and the beat goes on !

Sung to the tune of the Rolling Stones "19th nervous breakdown"

Here it comes, here it comes, here comes the 19th million conspiracy theory on Free Republic.

Hey, no big deal.

The truck drivers (and probably the trucks themselves) will no doubt be from "South of the Border" and these jobs (which will be lost to Americans) are NO DOUBT, just jobs that Americans "can't do." Oops, forgot the new "slogan:"

"Jobs Americans Don't Want To Do." Yeah Right!!!!

"On 01/01/94, NAFTA -proposed by GHW Bush, adopted and promoted vigorously by WB Clinton - became law."

Let me see, who was it that fought against the Conservatives in the GOP, was defeated by them (with Reagan), allowed into their circle as a consolation prize (kept him out of active opposition) inspite of calling our economic ideas (voodoo), then following Reagan became overly concerned about too much uncontrolled freedom in a dying Soviet Union, betrayed us on tax cuts, nominated "moderate" judges, betrayed the Kurds and the Shia when he had Saddam on the ropes and then coined that lovely phrase, what was it, oh yes - the "new world order".

Yea, right, that was GHW Bush, now wasn't it? The apple does not fall too far from the tree.

This issue of the so-called North American Union goes a heck of a lot deeper than just some big interstate highway.
