It's pretty bad. Now that it's daytime here it's really firing up. The low looks like it's moved west of Houston to Colorado County, by my estimation, but it's dragging huge bands of training storms over Galveston and east of downtown.
Even Victoria looks like it's been pounded for the last 5 hours. Expect reports of flooding there.
The whole area from Corpus Christi to Beaumont is in trouble.
The good news is that it's not a downpour everywhere. I'd call it a drizzle at the moment in Katy. But there are heavy bands of red on the radar moving across the area.
Got home in the rain. At least it is not as bad this morning as it was yesterday morning.
