Arizona Senator John McCain, Republican to pitch in for his liberal Rhode Island colleague, Sen. Lincoln Chafee .
We could do without both these RINO's.

" The response to his talk, he told the Post was blank stares. "Nobody listened to my reasoning. They support the president on everything."
The next morning the group decided to back Laffey
News Flash.........those wern't blank stares. That WAS your base realising, you had left them, you no longer represent them, their silence was indicative of what you can expect at the polls. The polls that actually matter, those on election day.

Thanks Seek, you have fleshed out the RINO corpse for all to see. The old guard of the party now must be pushed aside so that the American majority, Conservatives, can consolidate their political power in the country. If not, then the USA will become a socialist nation like those of Scandinavia's which will have become essentally Spanish based in 40 years.
We need to be very clear on that with each other.
The Pubbie old guard seeks an entirely new underclass of immigrants which will allow a short term accumulation of wealth on the part of the social equivalent of historical plantation owners, in both the Dimwit and RINO parties. Our president unfortunately supports this approach, having been somewhat forced to do so by the absence or reticence of men like Tom DeLay.This dynamic needs to be decried and published far and wide.
The RINOs hope to engineer the 2008 election so that Conservatives stay home rather than vote for what the RINOS are now attempting, a complete RINO slate for the 2008 elections, foremost the presidency.
We get our first crack at the RINOs in the state primaries. I hope they are resoundingly defeated as the UGLY POSs they are.

There is no way in hell that I would ever vote McCain for president.

IMHO, money will not get Chafee elected this time. Kind of like throwing more money down the black hole of education. He will be one of the first RINOs out. We have to discipline our party like little children, painful but necessary. One or two of these RINOS out will facilitate the others getting back in line. No more RINOs.

Beautiful, well said. All of these RINO a-holes are under the gun this election. They are going to have to choose whether to remain feckless, hand-wringing Republicans or real conservative Republicans, and conservatives are on to their tactics.
If Chafee, Shays, and Cris Cannon loses it'll be great news for conservatism.
To: TeenagedConservative
Technically, those things are conservative. Old conservatives oppose interventionism and support (to the extreme) privacy rights.
Says who? That conservative paragon, Larry Flynt?

The assumption is Chafee is the best chance for a Republican to get elected in a ultra-lib state, chafee despite being a lib contributes to Republican numbers in the senate which helps in keeping control of the judicial committee.
Nope, that logic doesn't fly anymore. When you get a critcal mass of RINOs in the GOP, what you end up with is a liberal party. If you to have a choice between a liberal party and a socialist party in every election, then by all means, support RINOs.
See tagline.

I think Republicans need every seat they can get, especially when it comes to control of the judiciary committee.
Imagine a committee with Leahy in charge...no chance any President Bush nominee would come out of it.
I am not a fool, I realise Chafee seat is valuable for the Republican party and the conservative movement.
