National Education Association Set to Endorse Homosexual Marriage
Teacher's union begins plans to promote homosexual marriage in public schools
Dear xxxxxx,
The National Education Association is set to endorse homosexual marriage at their convention coming up in Orlando June 29 through July 6.
The new NEA proposal essentially says schools should support and actively promote homosexual marriage and other forms of marriage (two men and one woman, three women, two women and three men, etc.) in their local schools.
The new proposal, expected to pass overwhelmingly, is found under the B-8 Diversity paragraph:
The Association... believes in the importance of observances, programs and curricula that accurately portray and recognize the roles, contributions, cultures, and history of these diverse groups and individuals.
The Association believes that legal rights and responsibilities with regard to medical decisions, taxes, inheritance, adoption, legal immigration, domestic partnerships, and civil unions and/or marriage belong to all these diverse groups and individuals.
Translated, that means the NEA will promote homosexual marriage in every avenue they have available, including textbooks, to all children at all age levels and without the permission or knowledge of parents. Their plans will include every public school in America.
Take Action
First, please forward this to all parents with children in public schools. They need to be aware of the plans the NEA has to indoctrinate their children with their pro-homosexual, homosexual marriage agenda.
Click here to send your email to your NEA state affiliate.
Please forward this to public school teachers you know so they can be aware of the NEA's plans. In fact, their membership dues will be used to help implement the new NEA plan.
AFA encourages teachers who do not approve of their dues going to the NEA to find an alternative teacher's group to help them retain their benefits. Teachers might want to give the CEAI home page a look http://www.ceai.org/index.htm or find another alternative in their state.
If you think our efforts are worthy, would you please support us with a small gift? Thank you for caring enough to get involved.
Sincerely,
Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman American Family Association
P.S. Please forward this e-mail message to your family and friends!

Time to fire them all.
One note:
The delegates to the NEA convention also make up the largest contingent to the Democrat convention every time.

Parents have a responsibility to teach their children the truth so that they don't fall victim to the public skools. That does not excuse the public schools of their behavior, however. Make no mistake: the NEA-controlled school system is the enemy, and we are at war. This war is for the future.

At the last Democratic Convention in 2004, 10% of the delegates were NEA members. These are the people who want and have control over our kids for about 50 hours/week. Teach your kids to NOT trust their teachers on any discussions about social issues.

I'm sure there was a post earlier about a Canadian labor union, not a teachers union, that was promoting gay issues and would not allow dissension among the members.
Unions have become much more than just labor solidarity, they have become a den of liberality, ie; a religion.

How about corporate style downsizing for public schools:
1. Fire everybody and make them reapply for their jobs
2. Eliminate middle management jobs (ie administrators)
3. Right size pensions so that they are comparable to private sector equivalents
4. Propose merit pay for teachers who perform
5. Create generous tax credits for private school tuition (with no strings attached)
Remind the public education establishment that they are our employees and serve at our pleasure.

At the 2000 Democrat Convention in Los Angeles it was the NEA more than any other group which was responsible for booing the Boy Scouts of America who had given the pledge. And that was of course because of the BSA stand in opposition to sexual deviancy.

I have been unable to locate a copy of NEA's 2006-2007 proposed resolutions on the web. If anyone can point me to such a copy it would be appreciated...The NEA stopped posting its resolutions on the Web because there was so much backlash against them. The last I remember the NEA posting its resolutions was in 2001, but they removed them from their website soon afterward.
But there could be a renegade NEA member posting the resolutions on the net somewhere, so it's worth a search...

The Association believes that honest and open conversation is a precursor to change. The Association encourages its members and all other members of the educational community to engage in courageous conversations in order to examine assumptions, prejudices, discriminatory practices, and their effects.
The Association condemns any code or system of discrimination and exploitation. The Association also believes that sanctions are both justified and necessary against governments, organizations, businesses, and/or groups that utilize or support discriminatory practices. (1976, 2005)

As a homeschool family, we use our public libraries often, and I did notice questionable material in the children's sections. I check every book I see my children pick up. But I didn't know about the "age discrimination" excuse used by the ALA. Thanks for the heads-up.

So does this mean that the NEA is encouraging sanctions against states that outlaw "gay marriage" through their legislatures? How about sanctions against SCOTUS? The NEA deems themselves above the law of their city, state, municipality and country? Let's not even begin to talk about "businesses, organizations (churches, anyone?), and/or groups."

I sincerely hope the NEA ***does***endorse homosexual marriage.
Perhaps this will prompt more people to yank their kids from these indoctrination camps, vote for candidates supporting tax credits and vouchers, and vote NO to any more school funding.
By the way,,,,were are the fathers? Why would any self-respecting father put up with this? ...or maybe they have all been turned into metrosexuals weenies.
