Honestly, if there is going to be any tax increase, I would rather have a sales tax increase than either an income or property tax increase. In NJ, no sales tax is assessed on food or clothes. Plus, with a sales tax, we as taxpayers can choose to buy or not to buy those non-necessities which are subject to sales tax, while an income tax takes away our money before we even see it.

How about no tax increase? We already have high taxes. Cut the damn budget.

I'm one of the few protected, as I live in an "Urban Enterprise Zone" where the sales tax is kept low by law.

How about getting the teachers, state policemen, prison guards, and TRENTON BUREAUCRATS to CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR OWN retirement funds for a change!
