Yes that is Phil grandchildren with their parents Geraldine and Simon.
The beach was empty because it was a work day plus about a month ago and so still chilly.
We are fortunate that it is only about a 20 minute drive to the seaside so now that Elsie is old enough each time they come down in decent weather I am sure Phil will take them to the beach.

Love that close-up of the buffalo - really a sweet face.
I guess that's just a winter coat he hasn't shed yet, but sure looks ugly, doesn't it. Actually the horses and donkeys take a while to shed theirs, too, unless brushed often. We can get a grocery sack full off the donkey in one brushing!
