Yes, But they are not " weapons of MASS destruction".
They are not nukes, or anthrax, or huge bombs.
It is a a bit like saving fire works from 10 years back.
They can still burn you, but may not blow your hand off.

I find this to be election year wanna be politics.

Wrongola. From everything I've read mustard gas doesn't go bad. It is very lethal, nasty stuff for decades after it is produced. I recall reading a story some time ago about a German farmer who inadvertantly plowed up several mustard gas shells in the late 1940's left over from WWI and several people who were in the area were exposed and died. Saddam used 3 of the type shells found to kill 5000 Kurds. Hardly a resonable comparison to "fireworks from 10 years back"...
