"The five Republicans McCain, Brownback, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, Bill Frist of Tennessee and George Allen of Virginia..."
__________
Only one of those guys has an outside chance of being a Republican President.

Stance my ass! I'm already tired of listening to politicians pontificate about where they stand on Iraq, and we still have a long way to go until the elections here in November.
The only "stance" that means anything to me is the one that involves actual boots on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. I respect the opinions of those who are actually doing something to win the WOT; our Troops, General Casey, stand-up guys like Dan Senor, L. Paul Bremer, et al.

Blather, just political BLATHER! Where is their outrage over the barbaric deaths of two American soldiers? McCain and the other arm-chair generals have successfully tied the hands of our warriors so they can't fight those that are killing them without the shadow of being jailed for doing their jobs. Our Generals, the field commanders of these soldiers are being so pinched from Politically Correct Washington as to nullify any real war and the intended consequences are showing. The time to stand tall with President Bush and our Military is NOW!
McCain would make one awful president with his tunnel vision and belt-way politics. That goes for the rest of these opportunists. Their rhetoric is pitiful, painful and just plain pathetic.

"We cannot pull out and hope for the best," McCain's dad tried that and look what happened.
