I'm not arguing because you make a good point w/evidence. But, let me also point to the fact that gas prices have been relatively steady and are $3.00+ only in NY and Kalifornya from a map I say just this week.

Probably a mixture of the two.

Someone has to get the balls to charge people who disseminate confidential information to the a) press and b) public.

I'll give you one more reason why he's down in the polls. Every time he decides to fight back when this kind of nonsense occurs (like the NYT's latest treason) his numbers jump. People like and admire a man who will stick up for himself, his country, and what we stand for.

If he'd like to see his numbers climb to the top, he should come out swinging against the NYT, against the pooh-poohers who are saying the new terrorist bust is nothing, against the people who insist on convicting our troops before they've even completed gathering all of the evidence. If he did that, if he showed 1/10th the passion he showed just after 9/11, there would be no ceiling for his poll numbers.

She needs to ask the Rosenbergs about that.

'One of the reasons Bush is low in the polls is that the president has lost the respect of the press.'

Gimme a break. There's never been a democrat so bad he lost the press, or a Republican so good he won them over. Their bias is complete.

I don't think there is anything the government can do in advance to enjoin publication unless it can absolutely prove that publication will cause immediate and irrevocable and critical harm to the United States. But after the publication has actually taken place the newspaper could be prosecuted. According to the Espionage Act of 1917, anyone who "willfully communicates, delivers, [or] transmits" information "relating to the national defense which...the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States" is committing a felony.

It's hard to say which one has a more negative effect. Both issues are draining our wallets.

I remember Susan claiming she was a rape victim. I wonder how far she chased the poor bastard.

The Left is totally insane--every last one of them. I can't fathom who, in their right mind, would listen to these psychotic anti-American creeps.

Actually I am starting to think that we should start revoking press privileges. Government doesn't have to give them privileges...and anyone who is contributing to the leaks needs to be taken out and shot for treason. Or at least start bringing some of the numbskulls up on charges...I am to the point I don't care about the cost...they are costing us American lives, Soldiers lives, British lives, Australian lives, and yes, even Iraqi lives. Lives matter more than the money! Charge'em with something ...conspiracy, treason, aiding and abetting...just do it already.

If Susan published the plans for the Atomic Bomb that the Rosenbergs stole, in say Pravda. She would be in the third electric chair.

I am praying that they do prosecute leakers and the media that makes public, knowledge that inhibits our ability to discover and stop terrorists.

Someone has to get the balls to charge people who disseminate confidential information to the a) press and b) public.

First and foremost a broadcaster should have the FCC license revoked.

When a network disseminates confidential information over the airwaves, they don't just broadcast it to US citizens. They broadcast it to the ENEMY agents of this nation.

LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS.
