I recommend the book, ``Prayers for the Assassin" by Robert Ferrigno. IIRC, there was a civil war, the South is Christian, the West is Islamic, there are some independent areas, some areas that are radioactive and some that are plague-ridden. It is all based on a huge lie that Israeli agents nuked the USA. A famous actress announces conversion to Islam at a televised Academy Award presentation. No more USA, no more Constitution. A Muslim woman historian from the ruling family discovers the truth of the lie and with an Islamist secret agent and the famous actress, who now realizes her error, fight to release the truth to the world.

In bleaker moments, I can see something like this occuring, especially if all the Islamists in the sanctuary, progressive cities were to coordinate their attacks to take control of these areas, which are already sort of defacto terrorist and illegal enclaves.

However, getting out of those enclaves and dealing with the rest of us in the heartland would be another story.

What annoys me so much is the liberal meme that social conservatives have so much in common with the Islamists, the "American Taliban" as Julian Bond likes to say. This is so far from the truth. The first thing that would go in an Islamist America would be the Christian church. Christian schools would be closed, Christmas and Easter would no longer be holidays, stores would open on Sunday and close on Friday, open display of the Cross would be punishable by imprisonment. Churches would have to remove the crosses, destroy organs, eliminate choirs and hymnals. Christians would have to pay a "dhimmi tax." Yeah right, Christians really want that!

Unfortunatly to those people that don't know any better yet want to strive for those and similar values, Islam can be appealing to them as a tool to reinforce those values. I know myself, I know better, but there might be some who don't so I think it is up to us who believe in a Judeo-Christian way of life to reach out to these people.

I've thought about it and arrived at the conclusion that a lot of muslims will die in the attempt but they will never impose islam on the USA. If you think our last civil war was bloody just wait until we fight islam right here at home. When the public is faced with domination of a pedophile based medieval cult the battle lines would be instantly established. Ialam can not win a war in this country.

I read "Prayers for the Assassin," it did not make sense.

His first silly premise, that Americans start to convert to Islam en masse because some Hollywood stars become Muslim. Yeah right, like we currently have mass conversions to Scientology.

The second silly premise is that the U.S. becomes Islamic but Canada does not. If anything Canada will go Sharia long before the U.S.

Third silly premise, that Islam will continue even after Mecca has been nuked.
