Very cool! I wish you lived down here. I would love to have a covered patio and deck. Our patio faces west and it is impossible to sit out because of the hot afternoon Texas sun!

Wow that is a BIG deck! Is that out in the country? Looks like some space around it. If your weather was like ours (and it often is) it was a good day for working outdoors. I spend 6-9 time frame in my basement & 9-3 outside ..with occasional FReeping breaks!
Had outing w/friend Patty today.. doggie walk, dinner at chili's & saw movie Break up.
My body is sore. but I did get done some needed outdoor things before the rains started. We again have wet in basement. so far no mud!
Poor folks in DC area.. Like a monsoon!

AH HA.. she again tried to slither away with another birthday!!!!!! But good old Rus remembered!
Certain birthdays are better/worse than others. I hope Billie that you had an outstanding day filled with people you love, laughter along the way & warm fuzzies ...and it isn't even Wed!
I don't know your age & I KNOW you hate to have a big fuss over your birthday.. but on this occasion I would like to thank you for the past year of help & support as a hostess. You set a high standard that I for one rarely meet but I always appreciate your talent.
You are also beautiful so the old saying about not getting older but getting better surely does apply for you.
and heck.. since the cat is out of the bag...

The Deck you are Building is just Wonderful, and the People who Get it will be Blessed! I Love my Deck, but it has No Cover, so it Gets a Little too Hot in the Summer.
