Exerpts from a NYT editorial just days after 9-11. I pulled this from a LexisNexis search.

Outstanding Internet research. The New York Times carefully (and accurately) explaining why several of its staff should be executed for treason, starting with Publisher Pinch Sulzberger (shown here after a tough night cruising the gay bars):

Nailed It!
This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for the perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author all 100% to feel the need to share an article.) I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of the good stuff that is worthy of attention. You can see the list of articles I pinged to lately on my page.
You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about). Besides this one, I keep 2 separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson and Orson Scott Card.

The NYT and others also used to run long pieces on Sadaam's WMDs and support for terrorists.

The accusation that the Bush Administration "did not connect the dots" keeps reverberating in my brain. Bill Keller and his gang must not have any memory that goes back 5 years.

Awesome catch FRiend! From
here:
The Treasury Department also needs new domestic legal weapons to crack down on money laundering by terrorists. The new laws should mandate the identification of all account owners, prohibit transactions with "shell banks" that have no physical premises and require closer monitoring of accounts coming from countries with lax banking laws.

Savor the irony.
Excellent post.

Well done, Sir! I would call this an "inconvenient truth" for the NYT. No wonder their stock price has been plummeting for the past few years.

Kudos on your contribution to exposing the NYT. I would at least hope that this would knock the article out of the running for a Pulitzer.
Your post prompted me to register after a couple of years in read-only mode.

Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY), Armed Services Committee, was just on the Big Story on FNC. He quoted this 9-24-01 article to illustrate how hypocritical the NYT is.
