i'd think they'd rather not have Gazaians firing rockets onto their territory or kidnapping soldiers from Israel proper or having a non-terrorist entity in leadership; take your pick and open your eyes
Every so often we hear about Israel "getting tough" with the Arabs . . . after having evicted Jews from some portion of 'Eretz Yisra'el so part of it can be used for a "palestinian state." Then the lefties get mad at the big, bad Israelis for oppressing "indigenous pipples." Never mind they were just 700 times "meaner" to their own people. The lefties never noticed. The eviction of Jews accomplishes nothing because the minute the Arabs show their tachat Israel has to "get tough" and this proves they are "fascist."
At a certain point doesn't the Israeli government have to question its "evict the settlers, create a 'palestinian state'" position?
i'm not quite sure where you are coming from, are you saying evicting the settlers was meaningless in light of the current situation or are you saying Israel is fascist, or are you saying both??? but i do agree with you the evict the settler create a palestianian state mentality is going nowhere fast
I'm saying evicting the settlers is meaningless if it's going to lead to situations like this.
I said the lefties accused Israel of fascism, not me. Not that lefties know what fascism is anyway, since they agree with Mussolini that "oppressed peoples" can't afford an internal class struggle and have to unite across class lines for a national struggle against "the plutocratic powers." Why else do they support mystical nationalism and totalitarian patriotism for the "third world?" Why else do they actually feel guilty about the defeat of fascist Japan in World War II?
This activity by Israel is very troubling.
You left out the W in Paliswinians.
Aww, dem pooh widdle pawi's, f*** 'em.
'"From now, according to instructions given by myself and the defense minister, Gaza is sealed off by sea and by land. No one goes out and no one goes in.
This is the first step in a series of steps that we are considering, with patience but also with uncompromising determination that this terrorism has to end."
Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer told Army Radio on Tuesday that, "They have to understand one thing, that nobody is immune, including [Hamas' Damascus-based leader] Khaled Meshal.
Nobody is immune."'

At least there is one country on this planet with the courage of their convictions and the guts to back it up! Go Israeli's.
Israel should go back to targeted killings of Palestinian terrorist leaders.
Amen! more power to them!
Lord, God, be with them and multiply their effectiveness and overwhelm their enemies with your will, Oh, Lord.
I rather liked Israel's fly-over msg to Assaddddd, too.
Clearly the idiot doesn't believe Scripture which declares that in this era, Damascus will be utterly and totally devastated, never to be inhabited again.
Quite a change for one of, if not the, oldest continuously inhabited cities in existence.
I think less and less of the population will be willing to bear more and more of the reasonable consequences of their murderous strategies.
Nobody is immune."

WONDERFUL.
God will, at some point, also make abundantly clear in our era . . .
that NO ONE is immune from HIS DETERMINED WILL, EITHER.
Harming him is liable to constitute a death sentence for the government and some of its ministers.

I could live with that.
Rather well, I think.
I'm glad someone has some decent reality testing there!

I suppose the victims standing up to their globalist, tyrannical, torturing, sadistic, satanic enemies can be a little disconcerting to folks in sympathy with the latter.
Personally, I'm cheering the Israeli's on very energetically. The duplicities of idiotic treatment heaped upon them even by the USA are hideous.
Thankfully, God is carefully working to set up satan for his biggest fall ever. Thankfully, God has everything in His hands. Thankfully, Israel WILL END UP WITH EVER SQUARE CENTIMETER OF THE PROMISED COVENANT LANDS.
Of course, Israel will likely be disciplined fairly harshly in between times for her hedonistic, secularist, God forsaking culture currently.
Yet even those Israelis most in favor of the Gaza pullout understood that many Palestinians would interpret the move as a strategic retreat and a victory for Hamas and al-Aqsa terror.
"We shot at the Jews and they fled Gaza," they would say, "so let's keep shooting and they'll abandon Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem."
Israel could have refuted that claim by responding immediately and massively to every infiltration and to every rocket fired, irrespective of whether the attacks caused Israeli casualties.
Gaza is now a de facto independent state, Israel should have declared, and like any other state it must bear the consequences of its aggression.
But Israel did none of this.
On the contrary, infiltrations and rocket strikes began almost the day after the Gaza disengagement.

Good points, imho.
Yes. In fact the western thinking peaceful Palestinians have been emigrating for years.
