Seems like wasted effort. Now if their stock went down to $1, that might get some results.

Or a couple of dropped advertisers. I always worry when we turn out for a protest; righties really aren't the street-protesting kind. And our turnouts make us look weak.

That's because we don't have rent-a-mobs on welfare with their days free.

This REALLY needs to happen. I woud love to see some of the Protest Warriors out there using tactics of the left, like drawing chalk outlines on the sidewalk of all the people killed by terrorists thanks to the New York Times, puppets with blood on their hands, fake money being thrown around, people dressed as terrorists handing out free copies of the paper, etc. I would also like to see some enterprising people print some posters of some of the great Photoshops being done of the old WWII posters and slapping them up all over the city. Or just a poster that says "Times to U.S.: Drop Dead!"

No but when Republicans DO turn out, it gets noticed by the media. They may try to bias their account (Remember 2000?) but they know it is authentic.

You want to protest the New York Times with chalk outlines?

Draw a figure for each "source" quoted in the NYT who NEVER EXISTED!

They make up news.

Yeah, definitely a favorite tactic of the liberal left ... bring them in by the bus load.

The goal should be to let the advertisers know that we are really upset that they would advertise in these papers. The Times is in to fragile a position to ignore there advertisers.

Bwahaha!

If we could engineer a NY Times editorial which insults the Koran, then maybe they'd suffer the same fate as The Jawa Report. I know a few Turkish Islamists who would be sure to oblige.

Seems like wasted effort. Now if their stock went down to $1, that might get some results.

If a stock holders group got together and petitioned the Securities and Exchange Commission to look into allegations that the Sulzberger bias was working against the best interests of the company and causing them financial harm, that might be more than a wasted effort.

How about identifying one large advertiser for the New York Times and starting a nationwide boycott. If that works we can start on another large advertiser for the New York Times. Does anyone have any ideas?

Here is my letter to Food City, a large grocery chain in East Tennessee, southwest Virginia nad Eastern Kentucky. They sell the Old Gray Whore in their stores. They are a fantastic company with whom I have but one bone to pick.

"Please cease selling the New York Times.

The New York Times is currently being castigated for endangering Americans by printing secret details of a prime terrorist money tracking capability. The New York Times is again demonstrating the fact it holds America in contempt while callously promoting an antiwar, anti President Bush agenda.

Food City is party to this blatant propaganda campaign by selling the New York Times.

Many of your Food City customers are offended by your selling the Times and in effect trading with the enemy. The NY Times has become the enemy.

Please remove the New York Times sales racks from your stores. It will demonstrate your support for the war on terrorism and thoughtful compliance with customer wishes.

Best regards"

You can send them a note Here:\

Several years ago, I quit subscribing to the Times, and I decided to only buy the paper occasionally in our local stores, and only after checking a particular issue to see if it did a good job of covering something I was interested in .

I was tired of indirectly contributing to the DNC through buying that mouthpiece of theirs.

I've bought the paper about 3 times in the last 24 months.

The sky didn't fall.
