Barack Obama has a better chance of shaking hands with Jesus Christ than he ever does of getting on any presidential ticket.

I saw a video clip of him in church the other day.
He sings and claps in church just like Hillary Clinton.
Very, very strange.

So I see that Obama can talk about Jesus without being labeled an extremist, but when Bush does it...

My suspicion is that Osama Obama, who has only been a Senator for a few years, is postitioning himself as a candidate for VP in '08.

When marxists like Obama do look favorably on Christianity it is not the gospel message that appeals to them. It is, rather, the opportunity they see to twist and warp a few isolated passages of the New Testament out of context to aid them in their seizure of secular power through class division and forced wealth distribution.

How ironic that the people who call out most loudly about the need to keep church and state separate are among the zealous to impose their cramped understanding of Christianity on the rest of their fellow citizens through the coercive power of the state via taxation and inefficient and unjust social programs.

Or as Obama put it, "In other words, if we don't reach out to evangelical Christians and other religious Americans and tell them what we stand for,

Unfortunately for liberals like Obama, we evangelical Christians know exactly what they stand for and we aren't buying it for one NY minute. If politicians like him ever get control of both houses of Congress and the White House again the government's war against authentic biblical Christianity (as opposed to the false version represented by Obama's ultra-liberal and mis-named United Church of Christ denomination) will go back into high gear once again.

Isues of faith are really hurting the rats. I have a neighbor, he is 80 years old and retired longshoreman. He was a union rep and was until about 10 years ago a yellow dog democrat. He said something last year that I will never forget, keep in mind this comes from a live long rat, "If you do not make at least $250K a year you have no business voting republican, but if you are any type of a Christian you have no business voting democratic either." He has not voted since 1996. Food for thought.

Obama goes a little further in making the suggestion that "voluntary student prayer groups" in school "should not be a threat."

I'll certainly agree with him on that...but statements of that nature will lose him the moonbat vote. :)

It sounds like he is trying to downplay his Muslim heritage. I thought at one time he was a practicing Muslim. Reading this article looks like he is trying to 'prove' he is a true Christian.

His embrace of Christianity was "a choice and not an epiphany," .

IOW, The very liberal Barack Obama finds it necessary to declare that reason, not faith, played a role in his deciding to belong to a church.

IOW, Barack Obama doesn't want to be lumped in with those [sarcasm] nutty religious right folks [/sarcasm]

Question: If Barack's decision to go to church isn't feeling/faith based, does that mean he could admit that some church-going people's opposition to abortion is not faith/feeling based?

Anything Sojourners-related is not going to help you win the vote of Christians.

This explanation of Obama's has more angles than the Pentagon.

Whoever said a good rationalizastion is more important than sex was quite right.

Not only that, but how in the world do Democrats appeal to evangelicals when the Democratic Holy Grail is still abortion?

Allan Keys, American

Barack Obama-African American

The difference in the two men is staggering - one is a Statesman and one is a political hack who hyphenates his name.

Obama’s Muslim past should be noted and so should the following:

Obama and Keyes differed on many issues including school vouchers, which Keyes supported and Obama fought against, and higher taxes, which Obama supported and Keyes was against. Obama's huge early lead, the general Democratic dominance of Illinois, and Keyes' controversial statements helped Obama win handily in the general election, receiving 70% of the popular vote to Keyes's 27%.

Granted Keyes has the rapier wit of an Ann Coulter, (truth & fact) a little hard for liberal Ill. to take and Obama is an avowed liberal/socialist as well an activist in Civil Rights. All made him the favorite in Ill.

Because if I have a chance to talk to Jesus, I'm going to be talking to him about eternal life and the meaning and purpose of my work here. I'm not going to be worrying about who he's voting for in the Senate race."
And, dude if Jesus talked to you He would remind you that abortion is the murder of an innocent child and "Better that you were never born than to lead one of my sheep astray."
Abra Cababrah is a cynical swine if he thinks he can get the rat to act rfeligious to win elections.
