Wait a minute, that's not Tony. Somebody must be substituting today. Oh well, he's a fine looking young man. If Tony shows up later, I'll send out new ping.
Press conference at 11:30am EST. Not on the CSPAN schedule yet, but I'm guessing it will be just about everywhere.
If you want on, or off, the Tony Snow/WHPB ping list, please FReepMail dinasour
Commerce Dept just announced the economy grew at a staggering 5.6% in the 1st quarter, exceeding the 5.3% forecast.
LOL. They ARE both quite good looking.

Women and minorities hit hardest.
*thud*
Thanks for the ping, dinasour. Be waiting for the Presser at 11:30 EDT. I also hope Koizumi helps with North Korea...
*snoq*
hehehehehehehehe
> I also hope Koizumi helps with North Korea...
He does seem to be one of the good guys.
Thanks for the ping. That fine looking young man was just down the road from me last night. I live about four miles from the VFW hall he visited. It was neat seeing Air Force 1 from the train on my way home from work last night.
> It was neat seeing Air Force 1 from the train on my way home from work last night.
Way cool.
Ditto that - and part of it is because they are beautiful people on the inside also...they say that a person's true personality is stamped on their face by age 30.
I've been around long enough for 'observational research' and I concur.
This is also a good tool to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Take a look at the faces of those whom we know to be good people versus the 'other side' - The difference is there...and then when they open their mouths, they confirm their inner workings for good or ill.
One side, predominantly, smiles and speaks in even tones. The others open their mouths and out spills a screeching, frothing creature with whom dialog is useless and counter productive. (As useless as getting into a pis*ing contest with a skunk)
I no longer waste my breath or equilibrium in 'trucking' with them. I remember Ayn Rand's advice on the matter. In engaging in direct conversation with them, you accomplish nothing for you will not 'enlighten' them. They are immune to reason or facts. But if they can engage you, they suck energy from you - that is how they get the power to continue.
My theory is that Light (right, truth) has a power source. Dark (wrong, evil, deceit) has no power source. The sun comes up, we turn on a light, we light a candle...and that power overrides the dark side. "Light up" and the darkness must recede to cower in the dark corners. "Dark" can only exist in the absence of light. There is no dark orb/star, or 'dark switch' or dark flame that can be turned on to produce darkness.
The dark side must rely on being able to engage people on the Light side, in order to irritate and cause that person to lower, as it were, their light level = which they (the dark ones) can suck in for energy.)
WE defeat the dark side by presenting the truth/Light - not directly to them - but to the world. And we must be diligent in that.
Goes along with Edmund Burke's :"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil in America is for good men to do nothing."
Thanks for the ping...*tapping tiny foot*..in impatience.
Just anxiously waiting for the presser to start. I think this substitute might just be the only one that could up-stage Tony!
I hope he has learned a few things from his press secretary about slapping the press pets! Do we know yet which CSPAN he will be on? I failed to read that part. :o)
Just SHOCKING news. How will we ever survive this Republican administration if they keep letting the economy grow like this! Oh, the horror of it!
a samurai arrow.
> Do we know yet which CSPAN he will be on?
No, not yet. It's still not on their schedule, but I can't imagine them not running it.
> He is one of the good guys.
I just hope he doesn't show up dressed as Elvis.
Unfortunately, I CAN imagine them not running it! If it were Clintoon, they'd be advertising his appearance all over the place!
