Hmmmmm, I thought 'whistle-blowing' was the IN thing these days Only if they think they found WMD in Rush Limbaugh's pants.

I don't know about the nursing profession, but in the legal profession, privilege (confidentiality) DOES NOT survive death. And what she is accused of is violating the confidentiality of Michael Schiavo AND HE WAS NOT THE PATIENT.

Surely you don't believe that?

She answered that charge well to the question Colmes asked her. Her answer was that she had a moral and ethical duty to protect her patient from abuse and report abuse, when she saw it. She filed a police report back in 1995 against Michael, which was never investigated.

She complained about the care Terri received and a complaint about it was initiated and she lost her license.

She was a registered nurse that supposedly cared for Terri in the nursing home and make all sorts of accusations against Michael. I suppose it would make no difference to you if they were true?

I read her guardian's report and it substantiated it.

Well she said enough with her telling Alan that she did file a police report (on Alan's claim of her 'lying'), way back in 1996...... She left old Alan blubbering...

It's a shame thae Michael Schiavo and his ilk got "The Man" on his side which is to the point to where this lady's career potential and well being is jeopardized for her coming out and telling the truth. I don't know how or when but there will be a day of reckoning where these people will end up paying for their misdeeds either by God Himself coming back or right minded citizens saying "no" and "enough" and getting some muscle behind them.

Yes it was. I read it in the public record, long before she gave her interview. Countless people read it.

We don't know that. Believe me, the police investigate every report that's filed. Obviously, the woman had credibility issues and it led to the revocation of licensure.

The Board believed everything she said too. They didn't revoke her license for lying. They revoked her license for telling the truth.

This is what I find disturbing out the Terri threads... she wasn't medically able to drink water. What did she do with her saliva? Then we can go from there.

Obviously, the woman had credibility issues and it led to the revocation of licensure. Yet they found Michael Shiavo to be "credible"? Who handled the investigation Janet Reno?

I am also a registered nurse, saw the interview this gal did on CNN (?)and questioned it at the time.
As students we had to take course in professional ethics. Talking about a patient's condition,in any situation other than a professional one, is a severe breach of ethics. To yank a license over it does seem rather harsh.
Now don't get me going on Michael. The worthless specimen is not worth the bandwidth.

Not being ALLOWED to drink water is quite different than not being able to drink water.
