Meg those begonia's are gorgeous! I once grew them each year.. but one year neglected to remove the bulbs in time for winter protection & never replaced them. They are gorgeous additions to a garden
A happy Fourth to you!
Happy Fourth, Dolly!
That is a lovely sight and post, Dolly.
Thanks meg. I took it yesterday on my doggie walk. I take them there two or more times a week. Josy loves to jump in lake & retrieve sticks.. Toby just plays "hippopatamus" & waddles around in shallow end.
I am going to put a red cape on Josy & get some stills & movies of her doing her superman leaps
Sun is out.. we had a couple hours of light rain
No rain here..but predicted for the Fourth. Your animals are so lucky to have an owner like you!
I finally viewed the whole thread and am bookmarking for later reference..I love to go back and revisit old threads.
Hats off to all who contribute..
Get ready..I have more saved to post! They are beautiful.I found some pictures that don't need downsized ..something I cannot do on the clunker I am on right now. I was so happy I could even do a search!
I am learning how to get around some of the drawbacks and can open some of the pictures one at a time I want to see..This old dog is learning new tricks!
Amen, jtm.

My parents served, and met in The Navy!
Stationed @ Great Lakes...Married there
& then shipped to Naples,Italy.
One of my sisters was even born there.
How cool! Yep, I come from a long line of proud Navy veterans; my dad was career Navy, my husband's father, career Navy. Two BIL's are Annapolis Naval Academy graduates. I have a Nephew serving in the Navy now in Afghanistan. Only one Nephew decided to be different and join the Army. He always did march to a different drummer, bless his heart. LOL.
Thanks Meg for the beautiful flowers you bring, you make this place pretty each day, and Maj, for the cute patriotic bears that showed up in my mailbox the other day. Hugs to you both.
CVN 68, my son was stationed aboard that ship during the Gulf War. That is an awesome photograph, Warthog. Thanks for posting it. GO NAVY!!!
My brother also went to Nuke school in Orlando...headed out to San Diego, then served aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69)
Long Navy service line indeed! Wow!
Yeah My Bro & a few uncles served in the Army...re the different drum portion...
& Grandad built roads etc...I think that's underthe merchant Marines umberella, not certian on that part but...
It's all good!
Only branch my Fam didn't go into was Air Force.
My Nephew wantesd to but his eyesight wasn't what it needed to be to get in.
I've always been real proud of our "Nukes". They are the cream of the enlisted crop...at least that is what my son was told when the recruiter convinced him to sign up. LOL
