The report states that a man with a Middle Eastern name and a ticket for a Delta Airlines flight to Atlanta shook his head when screeners asked if he had a laptop computer in his baggage, but an X-ray machine operator detected a laptop.
A search of the man’s baggage revealed a clock with a 9-volt battery taped to it and a copy of the Quran, the report said. A screener examined the man’s shoes and determined that the “entire soles of both shoes were gutted out.”
No explosive material was detected, the report states. A police officer was summoned and questioned the man, examined his identification, shoes and the clock, then cleared him for travel, according to the report.
A TSA screener disagreed with the officer, saying “the shoes had been tampered with and there were all the components of (a bomb) except the explosive itself,” the report says.
The officer retorted, “I thought y’all were trained in this stuff,” TSA officials reported.
The FBI looked into it and declared it a “non-event.” The passenger was probably a government agent, dispatched to test security at the airport as part of Homeland Security’s “How Goddamned Stupid Are They?” program. The next test reportedly will involve a guy in a turban wearing an As-Sahab t-shirt with wires coming out of his pants.

Door County Explosion Injurs Seven - Two More Missing
A fire chief in Door County says the area where three buildings exploded in Ellison Bay early today (Monday, July 10) continues to show rising levels of some type of explosive vapor.
Two people remain missing and seven others were taken to hospitals with injuries. Four of the seven have been transferred to a Green Bay hospital.
Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Chief Chris Hecht says a cottage and a maintenance building with living quarters at the Cedar Grove Resort were damaged, as well as the Pioneer grocery store. Hecht says local fire officials and state investigators are trying to find the source of the explosion.
The three buildings are located within about 100 yards of each other. The chief says a large number of the 50 or so people staying at the resort are family members or extended family.
Hecht says all buildings in the northern Door County region used some kind of gas, but they don't know exactly what caused the explosions at this point.

Snip: Sanofi, which is producing 50 million doses of injectable influenza vaccine at its Swiftwater, Pa., manufacturing plant, was slapped by FDA last week for what the regulatory agency called "a number of significant objectionable conditions" at the plant. Among them were findings that 11 lots of Fluzone concentrate used to make the seasonal flu doses were contaminated with an unnamed microbe, out of 250 to 300 lots needed to make the promised vaccine.

While Cyber Sheikh Calls for More Terror Strikes, Cyber Vigilantes say Enough is Enough!
While Americans were gearing up for the recent Independence Day holiday, a group of radical Muslims were meeting in a Birmingham, England community center.
According to the British-based Vigil Network’s Dominic Whiteman, on July 2, a mix of extremists from al Ghurabaa, the Savior Sect, the Society of Muslim lawyers and other spin-offs from Hitz-ut-Tahrir and the now banned Al Mujahiroun group were among those represented.
Whiteman said, “ Abu Izadeen (formerly a Jamaican called Trevor Brooks) took the microphone, and went off into an hour-long diatribe about how Britain could avoid another 7/7 attack.”
Whiteman said he doesn’t believe the claim from these men that they had no terrorist affiliation.
“If that was the case,” he said, “how could they conduct a discussion regarding the avoidance of another terrorist attack by Britain?”
Whiteman said the majority of those present at the meeting were unemployed (and claiming British unemployment and other benefits), following the advice of their spiritual leader Sheikh Omar Bakri (now exiled from Britain and living in Beirut).
According to Whitman, those present at the meeting were dressed in middle eastern garb, with not a single man present wearing pants – with the exception of the British journalists present, who were receiving a lot of verbal abuse from Izadeen.
“You are scared of death,” Whiteman said Izadeen yelled at the journalists, claiming they were responsible for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and the slaughter of Muslims worldwide.
Though many Muslims would refuse to call these men Muslims at all, the diatribe, Whiteman said, was replete with quotes from the Koran and other Islamic holy books.
In Izadeen’s diatribe, Whitman commented, there was talk about the United Kingdom Terrorism Act of 2006. Izadeen was reportedly careful to point out in one breath that he was not glorifying terrorism, while in the next breath, Whiteman said, he mocked the act by playing with words.
Izadeen mentioned Osama (bin Laden) in glowing terms of praise, Whiteman said, waiting several moments before adding the name of another “ Osama” from history. Izadeen pretended to be appalled, Whiteman said, when he mentioned 911, while a chant of “Allah Akbar” (meaning Allah is the greatest), went up from the crowd, after which there were approving smiles all round.
New Group Says, “We’re Not Going to Take It Anymore.”
However, there is a group of terror trackers, Whiteman said, “who will soon be wiping the smiles off these extremists faces. For they have secretly infiltrated this group’s online chat room, using various false accounts and have recorded Omar Bakri from Beirut, Izadeen from London and others flouting new terror laws.”
Vigil is a private network of terror trackers and anti-terrorism experts whose members have been following these mostly UK-based extremists for months, even discussing in detail with Bakri how to personally give him funds to spend on terrorism.
Their high-tech voice-recognition equipment has placed real names to the false ones used by members of the Internet chat room.
Whiteman said, for example, Bakri uses the alius Kaatiban, while Izadeen is known as Abu Baraa. Vigil has recorded Bakri calling on British Muslims to get involved in a number of illegal activities.
They include the support of jihad (Islamic holy war) in general, the taking up of jihad in the U.K., fighting back at British police who shot a Muslim in a June raid, and the bombing of Dublin airport (used by U.S. troops on the way to war zones like Iraq).
Izadeen was even more fiery in the Internet chat room than at the meeting, Whiteman said. He urged listeners to target the Queen and Tony Blair, and railing that those attending the meeting were obliged to support physically, financially and verbally the ongoing terrorist efforts of radical Muslims.
Whiteman said he sees the evidence members of his group have gathered as being crucial to preventing further attacks in the U.K.
“The web hosting of the chat room is through a company in New York,” Whiteman said,. “This company have already given us an assurance that when asked by our security services to reveal (internet) addresses and information on the chat room users, they will do so. This will lead the security services right to the front door of many of these extremists, and arrests will follow.”
Whiteman said that recordings made by Vigil members have been given to the anti- terrorist unit in London and to the FBI. He said that Vigil has a lot more evidence on the way.
“Working closely with our excellent security services and police, we are confident we will one day soon see an end to this terror threat in Britain, Vigil said. “These people cannot expand without opening their mouths, and we are waiting to listen in on everything they are saying.”
