Every time the Islamics get strong enough they try to take over the world, When they get their asses kicked they go back to living with othes for a while.
Thats History I suppose. One of the major problems with that today is political correctness, If we kill off enough of them to drive them back into obscurity for the next thousand years, the PC folks will have a conniption fit. Between PC and the oil situation the Islamics are giving us a fit. Now they have money to back their Satanic religion.

The age of oil will pass sometime this century. Oil production simply cannot keep up with energy demand.

In order to meet projected demand by the end of this century, we would have to discover 87 new Saudi Arabias in terms of reserves.

That's not going to happen, so we will have to fill the gap with nuclear energy. The importance of the Middle East will dwindle. Their economies will return to one based on figs, dates, and rugs unless they move to a service-based economy.

The Middle East is quite similar to the mining towns of the Old West. They were booming towns, but when the mines played out, they became ghost towns.
