The long awaited launch of the Democratic National Platform was delayed again today, when cracks were found in the foam surrounding the platform.
Party spokesman Howard Dean denied that anyone was foaming or even sputtering when the platform was agreed to, and a startled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected any mention of crack among those homeless constituents who shelter in the party's protective embrace.
Party insiders fear that the lack of foresight in including a propulsion system may overshadow the problems created by the lack of any guidance mechanism. Still, the media was hopeful and upbeat that the coming summer will present new launch windows.
We are closely monitoring the situation, and will keep the reader informed.
NASA Spokeman, "The B!tch Set Me Up."
It's that damn environmentally safe foam!
Chris Matthews was on vacation, I guess.
Thought this was a NASA thread!
One has to wonder if this mission was planned around the arriving asteroid.....
It's Monday, the 3rd, and only us idiots are pointlessly at work, and in that particular mood...!
What are the 'Nauts dealing crack in space now? I knew there were budget cuts but......
Sorry misspelled Ass'Nauts....... YO, YO, YO..... Crack HO...
It's just so expensive to be a tree-hugger, and a high flyer at the same time; it takes so much of other peoples' money to travel in those sort of orbits.
In fact- if there is any one thing that the entire Democratic base needs to learn... it's that there is no such thing as a free launch...
