" fifteen years ago was too late to do anything about it. We saved them from speaking German, and they can't save themselves from speaking Farsi."
And we "press 1 for English"
Nope, the back of the German Army was broken in the Soviet Union.
re : and they can't save themselves from speaking Farsi.
Well since we speak English I have no idea where that statement came from.
The best short summary of the situation. Due to comments from foreign relatives that I've heard over the years, I would surmise that most foreigners have a very dim idea of how our society operates. My English in-laws are very nice people who have been inundated with far more pernicious leftist propaganda than what we've experienced.
Like many foreigners (and American leftists), they believe that global warming is a much more serious problem than Islamo-fascism terrorism. The real threat of the latter is now being made apparent to them. We'll see what they think is more important in due time.
Yep, the world's losers hate the constant reminder of how far short they fall when measured against the American gold standard.
Wait until they have to measure themselves against Ind-jah.
I think the British proved to themselves years ago that they are faah superior to Ind-jah. I say old chap, those filthy savages will never amount to anything. Anyone for some tea?
Thus we have proof that half of Brits are freaking idiots. If we really wanted to take over the world they would be speaking real English and all have dental appointments.
That would be right, I'd reckon- I would hate for Americans to be judged by the drivel spewing from our press, and I can suppose that the Brits would feel the same way.
The fact that the Union Jack flies beside Old Glory in all of our endeavors, that the blood of England's sons lies with ours on nearly every battlefield grants them the benefit of the doubt in my mind.
One would be hard pressed to find a more stalwart and faithful ally.
OTOH, it is difficult to find broad examples of British conservatism (odd, that, considering the effect of tradition on most Britons). If it is there, it is largely unadvertised. One can only hope.
Finally, lest we forget ourselves... If not for Reagan, Limbaugh, and etc... There, but for the Grace of God...

Right, but I imagine some British still feel the Indians are not quite ready for independence :-)
