The thing that I'm noting is that the MM themselves are reporting this......both in the video and in the article you linked. Now obviously it's possible to find a few disgruntled people who will badmouth what's going on, but as the numbers add up, it becomes more disturbing.
And as you said, there are things that just don't add up about the fence.
Weren't you once the National Political Director for Dr. Alan Keyes and later a member of Jim Gilchrist's Congressional camapaign?

While you and I may disagree on the importance of Simcox running a financially transparent operation, we probably agree in many, many other areas, including the goals of the Minute Men.
But by suggesting that we are all "base" you completely torpedo potential allies on other issues. Do you honestly want to isolate yourself like that? And how will it help move your cause forward? Is supporting the President in general, although not always on specifics, so grievous a sin to you that you are willing to toss us over the side?
I'm a bit at a loss here.
We'll have a fence when the Commander in Chief decides we have a clear and present danger from tens of millions of foreign nationals streaming across our border, and devotes the resources of the United States of America to stopping it.
Until then, grassroots activists will continue to try and convince him, and the Congress, and the nation with their very limited resources.
In the face of Carvillian opposition from people like you, and Karl Rove, and Bill Clinton, and Teddy Kennedy, and John McCain, and La Raza, and the SPLC, and the ACLU, etc., of course.
You sure are, if you don't understand the kind of people who are trying to destroy Chris Simcox and the Minutemen.
