I don't understand why they didn't put in the lightweight cattle fence to keep the cattle away from this fence, then install the one that would keep people out.
A barbed wire fence is not going to keep people out.
if everything is honest, what is the problem with opening the books... and, if this operation has tax exempt status from the IRSm tehn they have to make their returns public... if they don't they can lose their status and all their donors can get burned badly.

There are multiple posts of the pictures of the 5 strand fence at Jack Ladd's, as well as explanations of why that's the only fence built, I posted directly from their forum and their own internal information. It says they are ordering steel for the fence, the fence is being built on private property, they had to find ranchers who are willing to have an Israeli style fence put up, (they do now, Ladd would not permit one on his property - he's the landowner), Cochise County supervisors are refusing to provide building permits, and someone is tearing up the 5 strand fence that was already put up.
I did not mean to say you were the one making all the accusations, Texasforever, Howlin and some other posters did.

You know there are former Freepers who have made similar accusations about this site and lack of spending and financial documents.

Because the rancher who owns the property did not give them permission to. Initially he did; then backed out when he personnally got pressure from the local OBL'ers. The Minutmen gave them what he wanted and a site to put up and Israeli style fence.

If you know Cartoon Ray, maybe you can convince him to stop lying. He obviously doesn't care what the majority of freepers think about him........nor about conveying accurate information.

If you have been around here long enough; there were individuals who did and do make the same types of accusations against Jim R. They left and started their own sites. Yes there was a point in time when FR did not have financial breakdowns posted and it was a similar argument as you are making against the MM and Simcox.

Forget Simcox is most likely a crook. Is the following, from a March 2003 speech to the California Coalition on Immigration Reform, the rantings of a sane man?

If you want to send money to provide border security, DON'T send it to Simcox. Find a reputable organization to support.

According to the MM documentation they want a couple of miles of substantial fence. It cost Israel billions to do theirs.

You are barking at the moon. If you have charges against the MM, ask them, not posters on this forum.
"Open Border Lobby" means you do not bow down and worship Tom Tancredo, Pat Buchanan, and Alan Keyes. It also means you do not think Simcox is the second coming of Christ and are not willing to send him your life savings. Lastly, it means you do not favor Soviet style border patrol.
They throw the 'open border' accusation at everyone who doesn't share their obsession.
I truly believe that those of us who oppose their extremism on this forum are the ones who actually care about securing the border, and that many, or most of them don't.
They do use the issue as a weapon............thoughtful consideration of the facts doesn't seem to enter the picture...........nor, in this case, does telling the truth.
