Tell that to the Rancher in Arizona that lost his farm to an injured Illegal.

What Simcox is proposing is the equivalent of a booby trap that when the first illegal is caught in the razor wire, him or his family will own the ranch that it was built on.

Your dream come true!

No cattle would get near the fence.

What, is there going to be a warning sign?

IMO, such justifications for allowing the continued invasion of our country by nationals of a foreign power are treasonous, by definition.

So, do you agree with such judicial atrocities?

No, it's called a cattle fence. You've prattled on endlessly about how easy it is to build them, you know.

No I just deal in reality. You on the other hand deal is the emotional equivalent of a 12 year old. The Ranchers are not about to go for something that will eventually cost them their land.

EV you had better ask Chris about that because his design doesn't include the cattle fence.

Well, let's review your "reality":

You want Chris Simcox in jail, for crimes you've offered no proof for. (Do you agree with the earlier OBL poster who said that the IRS should be sicced on him?)

You use lying SPLC communist propaganda to slime Chris Simcox.

You think it's fine to threaten border ranchers with the loss of their land if they take measures to keep scores of foreign nationals, some of them drugrunners and other dangerous types, from using their back yards as a path into the American interior.

Your "reality" is a twisted one, "Tex", or whatever your name is.

But the ACLU, La Raza and the SPLC love ya!

If it's a concern, I'm sure the ranchers will deal with it. Why don't you and your liberal friends butt out of their business?

No the Ranchers will just do what Ladd did. Demand the cattle fence and Simcox will build it while pocketing the surplus.

You mean the concertina?

I can walk over 3 strands with a peice of wood, and have done it before without getting cut up or caught.

You cant walk over the fence and there are video cams and probably some sort of sensors in there as well.

Why would the illegals go over the fence when they could go to Douglas and go over the fence there under the BP's nose like they do now.

The fence keeps them out of private property.

As long as the fence is posted there should be no legal issues. ie this is an intenational border, suject to US laws, private property. Posting the property wont keep people off property, but it pretty much absolves the landowner if someone does something stupid on the property.

Again, you make accusations with no proof.

Carville and Begala taught you well, "Tex".

You know shouting Southern Poverty Legal Center all over the place is not going to make this go away. La Raza? I don't think so. These are serious charges that have been circulating from various members and ex memebers of the minutemen. Are they involved in a Aclu plot also. I think not. Also this was a 4 month investigation by the TV station. Is the Southern Poverty Legal Center behind all these people and making them all lie.

You cannot use traps for people to prevent trespassing. Like it or not, crossing the border is not a capital crime. Have you ever seen someone that has been entangled in razor wire? He either knows that or he is nuts, take your pick because there will never be a foot of that fence design built other than by US government mandate.

I haven't been on the immigration threads for a while. Looks like the same open-borders folks are still at it full bore.

Tell me EV do you actually believe that the US Government is going to allow that fence to be built? Private property or not it is not legal to set traps for people and that is what razor wire is. The ranchers know that, that is why they don't shoot illegals. Simcox is counting on being shot down. He has the money in his pocket so he doesn't care but the poor bastard that mortgaged his house to pay for this scam will. I guess you would just call him a sucker like the volunteers that believed Simcox when he said he would provide food and gas for their help..

If it's visible and posted it's not a trap. Traps are intentionally hidden.

The guy who lost his farm was an ex felon to begin with.

He held some illegals and they arrested him on firearms charges. While he was in jail on firearms charges the illegals and the ACLU sued him when he could not defend himself, while he was in jail, and won the lawsuit and judgement.

That's not some innocent farmer, but that was not exactly harming illegals, either. Just some money hungry illegals and lawyers.

BS. Look Razor wire is used to prevent prison breaks. It is deadly force and illegal border crossing is not a crime that justifies deadly force. There is no rancher that will allow that fence to be built on his property and Simcox knows that. The legal liability is just too high not to mention that the Border Patrol or the National Guard will demolish the site.
