FBI looking at Web site showing shooting of Quran

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. The F-B-I will look into an online video that shows two men shooting a Quran with a military rifle and then leaving the bullet-riddled holy book at a Chattanooga mosque.

F-B-I agent Tim Burke said the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations asked the Justice Department to investigate the incident. He said no one from the Chattanooga Muslim community had complained.

Justice Department spokesman Eric Holland said the request would be reviewed carefully.

Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Islamic group, said the video may have been recorded in Chattanooga a year ago.

The video titled "kill the koran" was posted on MySpace-dot-com last month. It could still be seen on the Web site today.

A man on the Web site identifies himself as "mully88" and claims to live in Chattanooga. The author's profile lists as heroes (quote) "anybody that has killed a muslim or at least tried to kill a muslim." The site also contains slurs against Hispanics and blacks.

The video shows the man purchasing a Quran at a bookstore, going to a wooded area and shooting the book, then throwing it on the ground outside the door of the Chattanooga Islamic center.

They would get a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Thanks for the video! I liked it a lot. Those guys are funnier than letterman and leno combined.

Errr, what? Why did I like the video? Because I love the 1st Amendment, I love the 2nd Amendment, and I love whichever amendment that protects that guy's right to do whatever he pleases with his property.

As to the denizens of the mosque or CAIR? When they get their cousins to stop killing and torturing our Soldiers, then they'll have the moral high ground to complain.

On their yielding the town he had engaged to grant their life, adding that if the Sultan carried out the bargain he would give them freedom and suffer them to carry off their children and wives; if the Sultan did not fulfill his engagements they were to be made slaves. The Musulmans, seeing what was being done to the prisoners, rushed against the Franks and in the combat, which lasted till nightfall, several were slain and wounded on either side. On the morrow morning our people gathered at the spot and found the Musulmans stretched out upon the ground as martyrs for the faith. They even recognised some of the dead, and the sight was a great affliction to them. The enemy had only spared the prisoners of note and such as were strong enough to work.

The motives of this massacre are differently told; according to some, the captives were slain by way of reprisal for the death of those Christians whom the Musulmans had slain. Others again say that the king of England, on deciding to attempt the conquest of Ascalon, thought it unwise to leave so many prisoners in the town after his departure. God alone knows what the real reason was. "

Sounds like exercise of free speech but he just went about it the wrong way. He should have taken his playbook from the liberals and did it with the help of the National Endowment for the Arts. Sort of like that Christ figure in urine. At least this guy didn't spend any tax money setting up his webpage.

In '04 I got a lady friend to load John Kerry toilet paper in a bunch of ladies' rooms and the results were fun to watch from a distance:)

You don't need guns to do this stuff. When AD AF, my buddy and I pulled off some astounding ones in Europe. Only feelings were hurt:) They had the pitchforks out but we were never there to be found:) Well-earned Honorable Discharges for both of us:):):)
