Mclame isn't good for America

This is also the man who posited that, if forced to choose between the First Amendment and "good government", he would choose "good government" every time.

In other words, at heart, he's a totalitarian.

The good thing is McCain will never make it through the primaries. The GOP is pulling another Bob Dole here.

You would think the GOP would learn its lessons, DONT RUN TIRED OLD RINOS(bush 41, dole and now mccain). They always loose. And all three were war heroes as well, not that it made a difference.

By the end of the campaign Clinton sounded like the conservative and Dole like a liberal. If it's the lesser of two evils I will vote for Rudy.

Don't you just love mccain's comments about the 'religous right' and his veiled desire to shut down rush?

This is why McStain is even more dangerous than the liberal Rudy: Rudy doesn't agree with us, but McStain hates us.

Weaver, casually dressed and a soft-spoken Texas gentleman, reaches across the top of McCain's head, smoothing it. There is a tenderness in the gesture, as there is whenever Weaver straightens McCain's collar or brushes the lint from his jacket. There is tenderness, but there is also a kind of sadness.

A Brokeback Moment?

This is very curious. Over the years, in McCain's basic stump comments he always had said " My GOP is the party of Abraham Lincoln,Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan" Since 2004, I have noticed that he has dropped Ronald Reagan from his litany. Maybe it means something, maybe nothing. One thing is certain, he is being scripted by someone much the same way as the Superman writers dropped the "American way"
