Still probably too many morons in Murtha's district who would vote for him even if he committed murder on live TV. But Irey should keep swinging.

Not only does Murtha have a filthy mouth but he seemed pretty impressed with himself and his "influence." He was only a 3-term incumbent at that point. Hardly a lot of seniority. Thought it was so great that he attended a baseball game with the president. Just a few months later that pathetic President Carter was thrown out on his behind. What a joy that was.

You're right about too many morons voting for him no matter what. Also, you will never see this article reprinted in the Johnstown Democrat-Tribune. In fact, if Irey had an ad made with these quotes in it I doubt that the paper would run the ad. Some one should look into who or how many associated with that paper are Murtha campaign contributors.

This makes Murtha more dangerous in my eyes. Carter hand picked people for the CIA, State, FBI, Justice and in congress to help him weaken America for the gain of the Communists and Islamofascists.

You get another scandal with in a scandal with his comments about the banks - what kind of favors had these banks done for Murtha?

"Well, let me find out what is a reasonable figure that will get their attention," said Murtha, "because there are a couple of banks that have really done me some favors in the past, and I'd like to put some money in."

He's corrupt to the bone.
