That was my thought too.
You might think that , unless you were some "Catholic Iowan" or "Wideawake" type who will definitly not be getting any "Good Christian" awards for calling me names for pointing out the obviuos.
The Earth revolves around the Sun, no matter what the Pope says, in case you have a problem with that too.
LOL! You're too busy being a cowardly asshole to acknowledge that he was conscripted by law into both those organizations - that's just an oversight on your part, right? And likewise you just accidentally omitted to mention that he never showed up for a single Hitler Youth event or meeting or that he never saw combat against the allies and deserted the Wehrmacht at the first available opportunity, right?
What a nasty little sissy you are.
You might think that , unless you were some "Catholic Iowan" or "Wideawake" type who will definitly not be getting any "Good Christian" awards for calling me names for pointing out the obviuos.
The only thing that's obvious is your cowardice, your bigotry and your willingness to lie to further your pathetic, divisive, pro-Islam agenda.
I see "wideawake" already called you on your ignorance about Pope Benedict XVI and his being in the Hitler Youth and Nazi army. But, of course, I'm sure when you were 14, if you were forced into such an evil organization as the Hitler Youth, you would have boldly told them no, knowing that you would be forfeiting your life. Riiiiiiigggghhhhhhttttttt. Anyway, let's look at what some prominent Jews said upon then Cardinal Ratzinger's election to the papacy, shall we?
"The election of Pope Benedict XVI, the first pope to be elected in the 21st century, is an important milestone for the Catholic faith and communities worldwide. As prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Pope Benedict XVI has a distinguished record in Catholic-Jewish relations."
-- Marie Abrams, chair of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs
"Cardinal Ratzinger already has shown a profound commitment to advancing Catholic-Jewish relations, and we look forward to continuing our close working relationship with the church. We hope the church will continue to show the same sensitivity to Jewish concerns and needs as did the late John Paul II."
-- Rabbi David Rosen, international director of interreligious affairs of the New York-based American Jewish Committe
"Cardinal Ratzinger has been instrumental in forging several of the church's landmark efforts toward better relations between Catholics and Jews, including the recognition of the State of Israel and the affirmation of the ongoing Jewish covenant with God. In light of these accomplishments, we are confident that Pope Benedict XVI will continue John Paul II's pioneering legacy of healing and reconciliation"
-- Rabbi Eric Yoffie, president of the Union for Reform Judaism
And here is an article with comments from Jewish leaders after the first couple months of Benedict XVI's pontificate. So, instead of showing what a bigoted, anti-Catholic person you are, inform yourself and stop being so ignorant. It really makes you look stupid.
yep, the are all over the fr.
