Who were the Asians on the Israeli side??? (Or did I mistake them?)
Why did the Pali supporters wear their tableclothes across their faces....afraid someone might recognize them??? :o
The Asian kids just happened upon the event (as far as I know) and joined in with the American flags.
This is pretty common in SF, where there's a large Asian-American and very patriotic (especially among the kids born here) population.
When we protested outside of Lowell High School for Cindy Sheehan's "appearance," we were joined by a bunch of Asian students who had relatives in the military or were in the JROTC (currently under attack from the school board, but that's another story...).
They certainly have nothing in common with the local lefty and pro-Pali crowd. And these young people really want to express their patriotism.
