The GOP is on the right side of the war on terror. For you to imply otherwise is ridiculous.

How in the world could any SANE voter with common sense possibly vote Democrat with our and the worlds security on the line.

Liberals are just not mature enough to run our government.

Scary thought is that Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosie, Cynthia McKinney, John Murtha,Maxine Waters, Hairy Reid, Dick Durbin or Russ Feingold would have any say in what our government does one way or the other.

I hope you have called your local GOP congressional candidate to volunteer and donate to make sure that Crow is served in the direction your thinking.

$50 and 20 hours from each of a thousand "almost" engaged people in a candidates district can make an incredible difference in a campaign.

I like spirit but let's put action along with it.

Speaking of eating crow, I just put this up in the MI state board, yet another poll today suggesting MI is going to throw out its top socialist gubner:

It's going to leave a mark.

DeVos apparently leading in poll of Michigan governor's race 7/16/2006, 10:14 a.m. ET The Associated Press

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A poll published Sunday shows Republican challenger Dick DeVos apparently leading Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm.

Forty-seven percent of 632 likely voters said they would vote for the Ada businessman, 42 percent said they would vote for Granholm, 8 percent were undecided and 3 percent were counted as "other," the Detroit Free Press reported.

If history is any guide, we're heading into a major political storm.

History is right, a political AND social storm is arriving.

And that means we could see a national tide in November that will sweep the Democrats back into the majority

Not necessarily. Both parties have led us on the path to destruction. I see politicians with real, patriotic and/or conservative values being voted in and anti-USA ploiticos being voted out..no matter the party.

Because one party may appear to be losing does not mean another will win..the USA is tired of the status quo,We the People will vote for OUR COUNTRY this time. MHO

But we need to start purging the RINOs, who are ruining the country, and support the real conservatives, who are trying to save it.

Thank you. You're so right. This is why we have primaries. Here in Iowa, it happened. RINOs were purged, and a pretty big one. Now we all vote against the RATS in Nov.

Every two years the MSM jockey for the Rats and claim they will win control of the House and/or Senate but every two years they come out claiming fraud after the Rats lose.

Gee, a lifelong hard core RAT writes this dribble and we're supposed to take it as "objective" and not coming straight from the DNC.

As I survey the individual races, I see some definite GOP incumbent losses, so it is all the more important that Diana stage an "upset" over this entrenched fool. Pelosi says IF she is Speaker she will appoint Murtha to the Intelligence Committee over Jane Harmon (Talk about Mother of All Oximorons!). We know Conyers would head the Judiciary Committee where he and his buddy Peter Rodino gleefully ran roughshod over Richard Milhouse. PA-12th is the key!

Some people from Washington could help take the wind out of Maurtha's I-bring-home-the-bacon schtick by assuring 12th district voters that Diana will have their ear and support for local projects. They seem to be letting her twist in the wind until she raises more money (or maybe Murtha's calls to NYTimes, at behest of WH, supposedly asking them to not reveal secrets bought him some sanctuary).

I agree. President Bush & the GOP have simply not been given enough credit for an impressive economy over the past several years, but the media and Democrats will be more than willing to pretend ANWR and environmental restrictions don't exist and tie the Pubbies to high gasoline prices. And voters will likely be susceptible.

FR is a great resource. And I agree with you that party takes a back seat to ideology and love for America. However, one party has demonstrated time and time again its complete disdain for America and her military. And it ain't the GOP.
