Wow...this is out of Oregon??? Who would have thunk it. Always thought it was as least as left as Washington state, my home.

I may look this guy up and move to Oregon and buy the house next to him!!! And he's writing in a quasi-state magazine.

Socialism at least stood/stands for social justice (even if in a misguided way).

Now the key points of Democrat platform are: "gay marriage", removal of religion from public sphere, abortion and promotion of sexual diversity among school children.

How is it possible to win with such position?

The dims can't win with their obsessive need to rehash issues from the 1930-1960s which have almost no bearing on what's current today. They don't even recognize terrorism and national security as important. They continue to believe millions are in soup kitchen lines and in desperate need of "gubment cheese".

As long as they remain deluded as a party, the rightwing will triumph again and again. Apparently, the dims need to get another big slap to the noggin in November /06.

Think of how must time and print space the libmedia wasted on story after story about Plame and Rove. Both turned out to be "big fat nuttins'", and if only the media had run positive stories about our brave troops and the Afghanistan and Iraqi war fronts, they'd have been so much further ahead with the voters.

Maybe the libnuts will learn they can't be anti-American and win elections.
