Like we couldn't see this coming....
I don't think that rule applies to civilian tourists.
Run away from what, if its your country or you are in uniform you stay where you are ordered, but there is nothing manly about standing up to rockets if you don't need to be there, thats just plain stupid, plus you are a liability to those whose job is to be there.
He grew up to be one of the ugliest people in a generation.
If you are nothing but a potential inconsequential collatoral casualty, why stay? If an out of control car came hurtling off of a highway towards you, would you not jump out of the way?
I'm going to call you on this one... First off, I seriously doubt that he's got any cause to fight this war. Yes, the civilized world is fighting a war against islamists, and yes, Israel is acting as our proxy here. But he's not a soldier, and he's not an Israeli citizen. He's a tourist. He doesn't belong in a combat zone, unless he has a reason to fight, or at least the intension to do so.
I've got a cousin who lives in Jerusalem with her husband and children, and I'd really love to hear that they all left Israel, but they haven't. They're not soldiers, especially their infant. There a strong possibility that the enemy will begin launching missiles that can hit Jerusalem.
