The TTC is a state project, not a federal one.
If you have driven I-35 between Hillsboro and San Antonio lately, you would not see another highway as "unnecessary."
Aren't there four other interstates that terminate at the Canadian border now? I don't get how anything is changed.
The port in Kansas City is no different from the port at Alliance, north of Fort Worth. Did you know that Alliance is an international trading hub?
Now, go off and develop a conspiracy theory about Alliance.
I've logged many a mile on I-35, from Laredo to the OK state line, I'm very familiar with all of its characteristics. The TTC is not needed. At best, I-35 is in need of some maintenance and upgrading in places, but it doesn't need to be replaced with a highway 1/4 mile wide.
The port in Kansas is VERY different from Alliance. This port will, essentially, be considered a Mexican state operation.
I notice that you didn't respond to my request to provide a more rational, reasonable alternative to the "conspiracy" theory. You can't, can you??
