Also, with this article coming from the Fort Worth Startle-gram, their opinions are highly suspect and their attempt to lampoon right-wing bloggers who have questioned the purpose of the TTC and been able to "connect the dots" to prove that everything the Startle-gram lampoons is valid, pretty much discredits them as a valid resource on this issue.
Where did you see that? I'm not aware that counties got to vote on this. It is a state initiative, approved by the Texas Legislature.

This the soon-to-be County Judge talking, and he's right. Attempts to spin this highway into some nefarious blurring of borders, of dissolution of national sovereignty is the talk of conspiracy kooks.
There is no North American Union except to the extent that all three countries are going to cooperate on trade. There are no treaties, no legislation, no amendments, no legally-binding agreements.
